For me I'm undecided about this deal. He is immensely talented and we will only have the lad for one season but if he is able to help us then will he be worth it?

The pros of getting him are that we will have greater depth in midfield, a fantastic player when he is match fit and the deal will further raise the club's profile.

The cons are, to me, that he is brought in at the expense of another deal happening. If that were to happen then we would be short on numbers should he get injured.

I must admit to being excited about these players but it would be a great leap of faith to believe that this is a fool proof plan for the future. Neither have played in England (Lima not even outside of Brazil) and we know that it's not always the easiest transition.

Both are in their prime but this would be a step up in terms of teams they have played for.
