Ho-hum...back to the subject. What's the latest news regarding Ashley Young? Is he in Palace's transfer plans for real or not at present?

You would have to think that young would give us better cover on the wings and in the AM position and would strengthen the team. I would say that we would be interested at a realistic price.

i think young would be a great signing for us and would be IMO a 1st team player for another 2 seasons. he is apprantly on 90k a week tho, but he would balance out the team with him left & zaha right.

Totally agree. SP suggested 1 or 2 signings. AP mentioned 2 or 3 yesterday. Suspect it might be just Remy & Young, but really hope it's Sissoko as well. Important that Benteke gets quality service from wide positions and through the middle. Btw - don't forget Delaney amongst subs & might Fryers be given a chance at LB this season?

Zaha will need a hugely improved contract if we sign Young. Something his Agent is already pushing for. But just imagine. Mandanda wow, just wow.
