The Last Great War: British Society and the First World War. Adrian Gregory. Excellent examination of the home front. 3 Points: Beevor's Stalingrad is an great book, and it is well worth reading Berlin, and the Spanish Civil War too. Superfly: I read most of those as a teenager, and occasionally pick one up to re-read. Wonderful writer.
If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |
