One advantage QPR have is Rio. Caulker may feel he'll learn a lot of someone who was regarded at one point as one of the best central defenders in the world. Hopefully he'll make the right decision.

...or maybe he'll feel that playing with a crock who lost his pace two seasons ago in a relegation threatened set-up sounds like more hard work than the alternative Palace are offering.

If I was him I would look at our defensive record last season, at the emergence of Scott Dann, and the lack of quality English centre halves generally and I would think to myself with the top six all fielding foreigners, a Caulker/Dann combo under Pulis' direction could very well become the next regular England pairing...and I'm not joking, either.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

With Joel ward at RB. Miles better than Johnson.

He [or his agent] has openly stated that he would rather go to Liverpool if they come for him.

Obviously, I do understand why. However, unless this is some agent mind games, is this a wise thing to say given where he will likely end up?

For me, I would still say a bif yes. Zaha said his dream was always to play for Arsenal - I would still have him back in a heart beat.

Caulker will be a #QPR player within the next week. Already agreed #cpfc #ccfc

lets hope he's wrong and just a spotty teenager.
however, year on year in "silly season" the papers cling on to very little substance and I have found the rumours circulate on twitter to turn out the same outcome.

Theres always one or two unlikely sources of info.

As I say lets hope he's not one and just clinging onto feelings. but replied to a question of "how do u know" with this

@QPRGAV Little chat outside harlington this morning with unnamed person. Give me the nod & wink.

Until that day the player is holding up the CPFC shirt best just o wait and see.. I'm 100% confidend TP and CPFC 2010 have all in hand

Looking on the bright side I guess that his price will be much cheaper at the end of the season having been relegated two years in succession with two separate clubs

I just hope this doesn't turn into an Ince v.2 scenario. Got a bit boring.
