If I was him I would look at our defensive record last season, at the emergence of Scott Dann, and the lack of quality English centre halves generally and I would think to myself with the top six all fielding foreigners, a Caulker/Dann combo under Pulis' direction could very well become the next regular England pairing...and I'm not joking, either.

He [or his agent] has openly stated that he would rather go to Liverpool if they come for him. Obviously, I do understand why. However, unless this is some agent mind games, is this a wise thing to say given where he will likely end up? For me, I would still say a bif yes. Zaha said his dream was always to play for Arsenal - I would still have him back in a heart beat.
