f***ing Man City ruining the game for everyone. As if
Bony will even play for them when they have the forwards they have already in the books. Ridiculous.

Don't really know if Pardew wants Gomis anyway. I haven't spoken to him since his appointment.

Clang

Nor have I.

Me neither - which I find strange given that I dont know him.

Now I think about it, I don't know him either. Maybe that's the reason I've not spoken to him since his appointment..?

Perhaps if I rephrase the term "I have no f***ing clue whether Gomis will sign for us" as "Alan Pardew is yet to disclose to me over dinner whether he is interested in Gomis", I will successfully exude an air of gravitas and higher knowledge than you lot.

Yep, just to confirm, in case there was doubt, Alan Pardew, over dinner this evening, has yet to confirm whether or not he is interested in signing Gomis. He's not mentioned anything about Shelvey either. He's not even in my house. But if he does come round, and mention anything, I will let you all know.

I'm glad you've clarified that and in this spirit of openness and despite me not knowing him and having never spoken to him, I too will also report any conversation that he doesn't have with me about transfer targets that may or may not have been made up or players that play in the Israeli 2nd division but who have great stats on FIFA or football manager who I may mention, pretending that they came from him. I just feel it's time to reveal the details of the source that I don't have inside the club.

You've got Willo all wrong. When he says he hasn't seen him since his appointment he was referring to his last visit to the dentist. Willo is the receptionist.

We'll all await with interest, Willo's astounded rebuttal to these allegations!!

Oh come on, let's not make this all about "willo" and get back on topic.

For the (broken) record, "willo" knows everybody, and everything, about everybody.

However the mere suggestion that he is 'in the know' is hogwash, fudgery & pifflesticks.

Not at all. Gomis isn't for sale. Man City take Bony for £30m. Swansea replace Bony then start looking for a back up. Transfer window nearly closes, we come in again with a higher bid, Gomis comes to us, finally, and then SSN go to the Liberty to see another class striker come in.

Nothing to confirm that we were ever interested in the first place.

Even if Warnock was interested its no longer his call.

Is correct, NW may have been interested, that's not to say AP has the same interest, he has a totally different coaching ethics to NW.

Rumours of him being unhappy and of a buy out clause keep coming up, despite Swansea saying he isn't for sale.

I am sure he would be more happy if Bony does leave as that will mean he is pushed up the pecking order for games though.

Hopefully that buy out clause is nowhere near this figure!

No I shouldn't, if I meant tactics I would have said that, coaching ethics is correct.

One of the tabloids today (apologies, I forget which) reported a £9.25m bid possible from us.

I would be surprised if this happens though. If the rumours of him being unhappy are true, surely Bony's departure opens the door for him to have a run in the side. Why would Swansea sell both?

If that 9 was a 6 I might believe it. Cannot see why Swansea would sell, only if the player is determined to leave and I don't get that impression.
