Maybe don't leave your personal blog for a load of strangers to see/abuse and keep it amongst your mates- who are more likely to look at it anyway than a load of people who don't know you from the next chap?
Besides, the sight I use is for people to be able to share experiences. I know people like Eager Eagle claim to be bored of it (despite following me around HoL) but there are people who have read it. I could password protect it or disable the message function but I don't want to. However, that doesn't mean I should EXPECT abuse from cowards.

I'm not having a go, I'm not saying you're wrong for doing so, (i'm also not condoning people slagging your wife off) But if you leave yourself open like that, whilst knowing full-well that you and a handful of people on this particular website don't get on, is it really worth displaying it on here? It's not much different to leaving your address and phone number. Edited by EagleEyedAlbert (23 Feb 2011 2.05pm)

I don't seek out people who have read it or force it upon people I meet just so I can get "attention". If people are interested, they can read it. If they aren't, they don't. I'm not bothered either way if people read it or not but continue to write it because I enjoy writing it. And as for not displaying it on here, again, why shouldn't I? I have friends on here. By friends, I mean people I knew BEFORE this website existed as well as those I've met through this website. Some I've known almost 10 years, some barely a year. Quite honestly, if people on here don't like and want to give me abuse then they can feel free. What I object to is bringing my family into it and using a fake name to hide behind.

Oh, and if I left my phone number would it be OK for someone to call me and insult my wife? Or text me with drunken abuse? Leave me rude voicemails?

I owned up several pages ago, but Saxon won't have any of it. Anyone ? To grass someone up implies a snidey aspect to the issue. This is just plain abusive and a bit disturbing someone has resorted to this. Is there a snidey aspect to this in your eyes? Oh dont tell me, you're just bantering? It's almost like the ex-poster on here, who - purely coincidentally of course - some people got labelled a grass for god knows what, when in reality he brought t all on himself. Maybe you should be on the receiving end, then you'd just shut your fat arse up.
that is all, I'm out.
then be a good chap and get your mate on speed dial and ask him about this time. While you're at it, can you ask him about all the other countless times in the past 6 months too? Don't tell me - someone hijacked his phone and tied him up whilst they sent abusive messages from his phone? strange how the person who gets abuse has to apologise in your world. strange world indeed.

And no, again, if you left your phone number on here, receiving an abusive message/call wouldn't be ok, but if i did & received such a thing, i'd probably think "hmmmm, putting my phone number up on that website was a bit naive... d'yer know what, i think i better remove it"
