This from the Bournemouth echo says that he has permission to be interviewed by Palace, but it doesn't sound like he could have been interviewed today?

That means he will probably be interviewed tomorrow I guess

Early days on this one, especially as he has been interviewed before for jobs and subsequently turned them down.

--------
Cherries are understood to have given Crystal Palace permission to speak to Eddie Howe regarding the vacant manager’s position at Selhurst Park.

Sources close to the Daily Echo claim the approach was made earlier today with Howe expected to speak to Palace officials in the next 24 hours.

The Echo has so far been unable to contact either Howe or Cherries chairman Eddie Mitchell to substantiate the rumour.

I remember Luiz Felipe Scolari going about 1/10 for the England job and we know what happened there. I work in the industry and I know from experience the limits for these markets are relatively low, meaning relitively small amounts of money move the odds substantially. The news that he's being given permission to talk to us will be the catalyst for the move, with punters quicker off the Mark than the bookies and will be the reason for the Market suspension. I for one am still hopeful he'll join us. Given his history of turning jobs down after interview, I'd be happy to lay him at big odds on to take the job.

Bournemouth Echo reporting Howe will speak to us in the next 24 hours.

That's their equivalent of the SLP/Advertiser, by the way.

I still want Hughton! My gut feeling is hughton will do it for us. Howe is way too young.

Howe has only managed Bournmouth for two years. Hughton has been groomed to become manager for a long time, with the very best, as well as playing top flight football.

Howe will not work out.

Too young to have taken a team from -17 points at the bottom of League 2 to 3rd in League 1 in just over two years, some might say. He's done it though.
