I didn't. True, but we would need considerably more than just Brexit.

True, but we would need considerably more than just Brexit. Yep, also Brexit would force some changes in the way this country operates, something the Germans had to because it was in tatters. The MP’s don’t want more work or hassle, just like everyone else. Instead we’ll force them and they’ll try to wriggle out of it every hour.

I wasn't living in the EU at the time but would have voted remain to be pragmatic. I think the EU is a nice idea, but has no defined scope and is badly run. I also think the EU is badly run. However, I also think the UK Government is also pretty bad. I try and avoid thinking about Brexit. However, recently I've been thinking about the consequences of a No-deal scenario and personally I don't think it will be that bad.
We have rightly agreed to pay everything we owe to the EU but this does mean they are guaranteed an income. If we cut all ties and don't have any form of deal. We can hold off on paying them any money. So if the EU wants our substantial funding, they will have to come to us with a fair offer. Furthermore, it will open up a hole in there border with Norther Ireland. At the moment. The all the pressure is on the UK to come up with an impossible solution. However, if we don't have a deal, we will have no real duty to do anything. Putting pressure back on the EU. It's a hardball approach. But the EU can't operate without money, and needs to stick to the good Friday agreement as well. I think it's the only way we'll end up with something decent.

I’ve no idea what you are on about. OK so Warnock says Brexit is good, I said it would be harder for him to recruit from Europe, you said is there a downside to that, I said you lot don't want freedom of movement, you agreed so I'm right?

I haven't read all the thread and may have got the wrong end of the stick but maybe he meant that this would give our young players a chance to progress

Hardly much of a claim is it, especially as he’s said it’s a bad thing for this stage in history. Hardly winning the debate of our time.
