That though is not the issue. Whilst speaking freely is sacrosanct you cannot intimidate whilst doing it, nor can you obstruct people from going about their daily life or act aggressively or encourage others to do so. There is therefore a huge difference in the behaviour of those in your video and what went on with Ms Soubry. Peaceful protests are fine. Rabble rousing is not. That applies to all. The political views involved are irrelevant. For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

Freedom of speech is a precious part of our democracy and should be defended by all, whether they agree with what is being said or not. That though is not the issue. Whilst speaking freely is sacrosanct you cannot intimidate whilst doing it, nor can you obstruct people from going about their daily life or act aggressively or encourage others to do so. There is therefore a huge difference in the behaviour of those in your video and what went on with Ms Soubry. Peaceful protests are fine. Rabble rousing is not. That applies to all. The political views involved are irrelevant.

In what way? Although I think the behaviour towards her was stupid I didn’t see anyone trying to clump her or intimidate her family?

She was going about her work and was being obstructed and intimidated. Her work involves representing her views to the media and arguing her case. That involves moving between the Commons and TV studios, often on foot. No-one should be obstructed or intimidated at any time, but especially when working.

Yep, I think that's fair enough....what are the conservatives conserving exactly.

I can kind of respect Labour because they reflect their base....well the activist part of it at least.....but the Tories...

They just wanna keep their sh1t.....they would sell any past principle down the river for it...They have gone full 'progressive' on social policies.....I can't support that......Let the neo liberals line their ranks.

If May thinks she can defecate all over the principles of traditional conservatism and still rely on the social conservatives to vote for her.....all because the alternative is Corbyn.

In fact the figures on the right have been called 'Nazi' on a daily basis.....and been harassed as well....sacked, you name it. Where were your posts on free speech when he was getting it?
