If everyone is right in their thinking this is about whether he wants to come here or not. He's been told there is no future at Liverpool and I haven't seen any other top 15 clubs making any noise anywhere in Europe. So he has got a big decision to make, Liverpool sidelines or us. Sadly he hasn't come close to being caught by the Palace magic.
We are a rare club with special stuff going on. The guy is obviously not that bright or he would realise there is nowhere better to resurrect his career. If he had come to us all upbeat to prove a point we could easily have ended up in the top 6 and then the guy would have been a hero.
