I'm happy with a second referendum as long as "remain in the EU" isn't one of the options as we've voted on that one already

May I remind you that this is a politics and news forum. Opinions get challenged on here precisely because there are political and philosophical differences.....yours, mine and the bloke next door. I found your quoting of Voltaire ironic given your obvious political position. Nothing particularly dramatic or insulting was said to you and you're acting like someone's spat on a small child. Hilarious. I that it the NHS will foot the bill when you give yourself a heart attack or stroke?

Also I should imagine the behaviour of the EU in these negotiations has lost a lot of 'good will' that many people who felt lukewarm about voting remain had. My cousin voted remain but she's been angered by how the politicians and EU have behaved......I doubt she is on her own. If anything I'd see a similar vote score that if anything would be a larger leave win. Edited by Stirlingsays (09 Jan 2019 12.23pm) I've been surprised by the number of people that I know who voted Remain are thinking just this and would vote Leave this time because of the EU's stance

You were waffling about how 'right' your idea of 'compassion' was....So then going by your own standard (which isn't mine) it's quite amusing to then talk about me giving myself a heart attack. But that's ok, I'm not a snowflake....Unlike those who describe their views being challenged as being 'bullied'. Edited by Stirlingsays (09 Jan 2019 3.12pm)

So when May loses the meaningful vote next week she will have to reveal plan b in three days. As opposed to 21 days. Talking about trying to run down the brexit clock as March 29th draws ever closer.

And just to spice things up a bit more, the Government has now decided that it's easier to negotiate with Brussels unilaterally. Presumably we're busy dusting off those new aircraft carriers. [Tweet Link]

That's social deprevation caused by cuts and austerity, as people become poorer they become more desperate and inevitably crime will rise. How many less police do we have since the Conservatives came in? Bulls*** from you again, nothing to do with austerity, everything to do with not wanting to work in a proper job.....we were poor years ago, didnt go around stabbing people though! As someone said, much to do with imported scum, often from Eastern Europe
