It's possible. A cheeky bet on Johnson being PM come 2025 might be worth a spare cockle, just for the lolz. The issue is that if he decides not to go then the Tories who want him out, as things stand, only really have one option. Which would be to back a Labour motion for lack of confidence in the Government. That's it, as far as I can see. People want a Government that leads. Sunak was a busted flush anyway and Javid had already supposedly, resigned on principle once before. Maybe this is the shock Johnson needs. But he ain't going anywhere of his own free will. The green- extinction rebellion/LGBTDHTSC/ trans crap/ mayor khant and fellow mayors town taxes on drivers etc etc.

Too little, too late. I can't see him surviving this one. And how many times has that been said before? There is a good possibility that he might be gone sooner rather than later but if this is meant to be the moment, then over some drunken homosexual groper? I mean very British, very public school but really? You know my thoughts on Johnson and what he SHOULD have resigned over. Made those more than clear. But this? If we get another major resignation, of which there are rumours about, then yes, I would say it is 90% possibility but given he has recently survived a vote of confidence than the routes for him being forced out don't really exist, at least in the immediate. The Tories do not want to fight an election right now. And if Johnson decides to rediscover what being a Conservative is actually meant to be about, as opposed to this socially liberal sham we have at the moment, then he can still turn this around. But we will see.

The sooner Johnson buggers off and takes his awful wife with him the better. I just don't care anymore. It's not a Conservative party it's a neo liberal party and they have kept all the anti free speech laws Labour introduced and want to extend them with some 'online safety' b0llocks....designed to protect elites. They use all the same language the progressives use and pretty much believe in all the same stuff, wave that rainbow flag instead of promoting and supporting families that actually produce the next generation. Not conservatives. Edited by Stirlingsays (05 Jul 2022 7.45pm)

He is a fool. A man not to be trusted on anything. A man who proclaimed his support for Corbyn and then threw him out of the Labour party. Loathe Johnson and the rest, that I get. But this idea that Starmer is the answer to anything is beyond ludicrous.

Sir Keir is an OK person in my view, he has made a procession of bad calls. But he is not a loathsome reptile like the PM. When Johnson is gone you will look at the wholesale damage he has brought, and wonder how you could ever have been sucked in.
