Yeah, 'come to Cornwall', just as long as you spend and then feck off again. Understandable when outsiders cause young cornish people to move out because of house prices. But it’s their mindset and not just housing as we know. I can’t say I like property being bought and kept empty by rich Chinese as a tangible share/commodity trade.

The airlines don't have to give refunds if you choose not to fly but in your case I expect Easyjet to officially cancel the flight which means they have to refund you. I was due to fly to Lanzarote next week with Ryanair and they waited until last week to cancel the flight and are currently processing (slowly) a refund. I am also booked with Easyjet to fly to Kefalonia at the end of May and I can't see that going ahead either as Kefalonia is as locked down as we are

Consider a scenario where a couple in a town own a second home on the beach. This couple would rather be at their second abode as they could exercise on the beach rather than walking around streets in a built-up area. If this couple who have been staying at home and adhering to the advice, get into their car, drive to their second home, enter the home and self-isolate as before, is this deemed unacceptable ? Just a hypothetical scenario! Did you used to come out of one of those beach huts in speedos and swimming cap? They’re worth bundles now I think I saw once.

For sure, however....as I've come to realise in life....what you at first tolerate you are then made to accept. So all that good stuff is coming to them as well. Bug bearer to this is YOU, the customer has to contact them by phone if you require a refund, or you can change dates/take a 'voucher' for further use. As im 'flight-only' im gonna be on the phone 1st thing tomorrow morning for prob 3-4 days, wish me luck.

Some while ago my dear wife and I booked 'Club Europe' tickets on BA for a trip abroad in June.I suspect,in the light of this pandemic, our trip will need to be cancelled.I have not yet looked into the minutiae apropos a refund for the flights in these circumstances. If restrictions are lifted in the UK and at our proposed destination, I might have to persuade my dear wife to delay our trip as it could be in the midst of the football season!

Hang fire for the moment Willo, BA are only dealing with April. I am a 'silver executive club member' with BA & had tickets for 24th March - Alicante & also 14th April also Alicante, both flights outbound & inbound have been cancelled. They are offering you a 'voucher' to the cost of your flight(not any extra's you might have booked) for 12 months from the outbound flight date. Wait till they email you. If you cancel, you will get hit with charges, so, wait & exercise a touch of patience.

My trip in June hasn't been at the forefront of my mind, accordingly I haven't given any consideration into cancelling my tickets.I shall wait for BA to contact me. Even if the trip was possible,it is highly unlikely I would be able to postpone it for football reasons given that other members of my family are involved and I am not just referring to my dear wife! This id NOT an option!
