I think the idea of it ever happening is wishful thinking really. I admire those who have it as a goal, and morally it's probably what 'should' happen, but the actually reality of the situation makes it a pie in the sky outcome.

I haven't posted here for several weeks but couldn't let this pass. I realise that you are a fully signed up member of the nasty party who give them a free pass on everything but you cannot really believe this. Can you? As Marr told him this morning he is a "blusterer" who doesn't answer questions but sticks to the lines he has been given. When he strays off script he gets things wrong and ends up lying, as he did again today. Johnson could be amusing in an annoying way if our situation wasn't so serious but he is no polymath. Such a term applies only to great thinkers and Johnson is a thinking lightweight. Having had a privileged education and the opportunity to study the classics doesn't make you a thinker. It just means you have some quotes that make you appear that way. Johnson needs to send Corbyn the biggest Christmas present possible this year because without him he would be suffering total humiliation. As it is we all will be. With the greatest of respect you might view your post as the great cacophanous crescendo of instant punditry but to my mind, using the words of the erudite luminary Boris Johnson, it is an "Inverted pyramid of piffle". Alas we are on 'Opposite sides of the house' on this matter and a plethora of other matters that you have discussed on HOL but of course I respect your right to express your opinions even though in general I have fervently disagreed with them. Andrew Marr did keep interrupting because Bojo was not answering his questions because he didn't know the answer or more likely was advised to phaff around and just woffle which he is good at.

Only God knows, maybe. I hope it happens. Andrew Neil always gives a good grilling regardless of political hue.

Well, one state is one less enemy. I heard one of the prospective MPs got into trouble for describing the state of Israel as an abused child who went on to become an abuser in later life. I’d not heard that one before, it may have some validity to it.
