Jesus H Christ. Hope none of you lot ever made a mistake at work. If you did, then I also hope you didn't ask your boss to take into account your many years of exceptional service.

Boll*cks. He’s meant to be our best player, scored his first goal in 16 games as a forward, then acts like a c*nt and misses Fulham at home, he ripped them apart in the away game.
Probably West Ham at home and maybe the cup game in Doncaster.
If we lose the next 2 league games and are out of the cup (great chance to go a long way this year), it will be a large part down to him acting like a pr*ck.

Wow, what a poor attitude.
Meant to be our best player, so you think he isn't, but s*** scared we might lose our next couple of games. Why? Only one goal in 16.
Will miss the fact he's won about 4 penalties in that run, set up countless chances that we have squandered on a regular basis and done all this poor work while playing out of position. If only he could control his temper like you.

That's Life
And as funny as it may seem

If he does that he will just get 1 extra game. Look at vardy against manure and that was back chat. Minimum of one game I'd say. Hope I'm wrong though and you are right!

If he put in a naughty tackle and got sent off it would be understandable after the way he was getting knocked about. But missing games for clapping a ref at 26? F*cking ridiculous

Can't imagine such a thing would work, where would it end if they started looking back at everything that made a player frustrated by the time he got his red card? Decisions in that game? Decisions that season? Decisions in years gone by? At best he'd be arguing that two wrongs make a right, and they don't. You just can't be disrespectful in that way without getting punished, and rightly so.

In any case, he should do exactly what he said he would: take it on the chin and learn from it, having already apologised. That's what decent folk do when they make a mistake, and so I'm sure that's what Wilf will do.

Might not do him any harm to take his medicine anyway. We can all see that he's not been at his best, and has been focusing far too much on complaining to refs and far too little on playing quickly and directly. A two match ban will give his legs a rest and his mind a break. If he returns even close to his best that will be enough to guarantee we stay up all by itself.

How many more claps did you count after he was sent off....
Why did no team mates go to him to get on the pitch....
Why because Wilf doesn't listen to them, or perhaps respect them, because hes "our superstar"
If you was at the match, you would have seen what our players thought, who didnt run to his aid,, who didnt drag him off the pitch and only Milo went to have a quite word with ref.... says something!!!

It's been like this since the Watford situation, clearly he doesn't feel safe or happy knowing that opposition players are intentionally trying to injure him (as has even been admitted by others, as we all know), the referees aren't doing enough about it and the 'fans' merely respond with "Let's just sell him and get the money". Nice one guys. "He's let the team down" is another one I hear often as a reason for putting him in the doghouse. Yeah, well, the rest of those involved have let the game down but are the ones that suffer the least.

All that aside I must say I was shocked that the second yellow was for the clap - I assumed something else happened or was said off camera but no, it was for a clap. A clap!

Yes at Brighton match, in my opinion he was trying to get booked and he did right at the end......

Sorry but Zaha has shown time and time again that he is brainless. Already been susopended this season for picking up 5 bookings for retaliating when he was angry about not getting a decision. As was said above, he is in his mid-20s with over 300 games (I think) to his credit - he's not a little kid. Needs to grow up.

That Marriner took no action against Ward Prowes was the injustice that tipped Wilf over the edge .He had been fouled , he had been belittled and he had been threatened . I would have had no problem if he had stuck a right hander on him .
He then gets booked ! Its at this point he needed to count to ten and walk away and thats what he must learn to do .
Move on , were only human .

Id have been happier with a right hander also. It’s the muggy ness of clapping when he knows it will see him sent off with seconds to go that did it for me.
Decent transfer window and I’m over it now. Need 3 points Saturday
