Can't imagine such a thing would work, where would it end if they started looking back at everything that made a player frustrated by the time he got his red card? Decisions in that game? Decisions that season? Decisions in years gone by? At best he'd be arguing that two wrongs make a right, and they don't. That Marriner took no action against Ward Prowes was the injustice that tipped Wilf over the edge .He had been fouled , he had been belittled and he had been threatened . I would have had no problem if he had stuck a right hander on him .
He then gets booked ! Its at this point he needed to count to ten and walk away and thats what he must learn to do .
