IF that's the case, he should have been "turning his attentions" to it as soon as Allardyce told him he was offski. Think he deserves a couple of days off in the sun to mull things over before coming back fresh and ready to pounce really. I mean, he's had one hell of a stressful season and has recently spoken of the pressure of running a PL club(us as well!) being almost unbearable. I don't imagine he'll be sitting there with his phone and/or laptop idle anyway.

Tuchel looks great, but for Palace? According to the link posted somewhere above he hates everything about our current set-up, and if he tries to change what we have into his usual thing then he and we are in for a big shock. Philosphically he is opposed to nearly everything we do, as far as I can see unless I'm misunderstanding something. Really? I read this as he likes the diagonal long pass, likes his defence to press up and link with the midfield and likes his Centre Forward to occupy both Centre Backs to create space. Sounds quite familiar to me. What am I missing? Edited by Mapletree (30 May 2017 8.25pm)

God, no.......... Karma dictates that we dodge Hodgeson after having missed out on Silva. (And Monk for that matter, as Silva is better than both of them combined.)

I'm not a fan at all, but he doesn't bring nothing does he? England manager, wealth of experience and contacts, would steady the ship surely? There's hardly much to f@ck up is there? I mean, he's not going to insist on Campbell over Benteke is he? He left the scene on a massive downer and he's keen as mustard to change current perceptions of him. Think of his mates and contacts? He ain't THAT bad surely? Beggars can't be choosers they say and from where I'm sitting we're sitting with no legs and arms and very few coins out on a country roadside on a wet bank holiday.

If Roy gets the job it is surely our best chance to keep Sammy Lee. Yes he is getting a tad long in the tooth, but after Sam slaughtered him for the England nightmare, he has something to prove and I'm sure would love the chance to try and get Palace to do better than Sam achieved. There will be huge motivation to do this and Lee will already know Roy's way of working. I was against this initially, but looking at his past, the past links and keeping Lee, this may not be such a bad idea. Maybe Parish also sees this as a great shorter term opportunity.

Is Roy really gonna let Benteke take the corners (hope f***ing not). That kind of scrutiny won't be at Palace. Whilst he made mistakes at England. What managers haven't. He isn't my ideal or preferred choice no, he isn't but would 1 year or 2 years of Roy be a sensible appointment. It probably would. Every year we grow, the stronger we become. Coyp

But I don't see how you can look at Harry Kane taking corners without thinking he's lost the plot, can you?

I'm sure he has. Don't think there's been anyone mental enough to give him a job.
