This is all rather pointless. It won't matter what he does he won't get anymore than 30%ish of the electoral vote so the next gov is a Tory shoe-in.

He will then resign.

Shame.

Who knows how things will work out.

You seem to like changing your posts completely. I recall you professing that you loved me either on Friday or Saturday night, then removed it the next day. I presumed the ecstacy must have worn off.

I thought you weren't talking to me.

You have said it enough times.

I'm not. I'm typing.

Ha flipping ha.

Either you engage with me or you don't.

What is it?

Now, do you love me or not? I haven't been able to sleep since. My stomach has all butterflies in it innit.

I am not the one with the problem.

I have been consistent.

The fact is that you have the problem of either trying to be the debate in or crying out, depending on whether you think you have your way or not.

I have no lack of confidence in my ability to vocalise my position but I believe you do, therefore, I don't think we can rely on you, despite your bragging.

Love, pity. Do you have any other abstract nouns for us?
Don't worry about me. I'm fine. But thanks for the concern.

Back to Corbyn, this bloke from your beloved spectator seems to hit the right notes here.

"Learning on the job". He's had how long as an MP? You'd have thought at some point in that time he'd have given some thought about what his vision would be and how he'd run his party. Or maybe he's only fit for a debating society...

This is what makes politics such a farce, the idea that its acceptable for MPs and Politicians to project their vision of how to run society / the party etc rather than representing the best interests of society and the people.

Governments should respond based on available facts, research and data and then sell that to the public. Too often UK politics is about pandering to popularism whilst pursuing their own 'ego agenda'.

White Horse has summed up Corbyn's position as good as I have ever seen or heard.

He is/was as staunch a Labour supporter as I've encountered (or so it seems) and even he's writing off Corbyn's chances in the 2020 election.

The future doesn't look bright for Labour whilst Corbyn remains the leader.

How is that a farce? The electorate decides which party most represents the best interests of society and the people, it's called democracy. If the public don't like the vision being projected onto them, they can vote for somebody else.

Until Corbyn took over the reins of Labour, there wsasn't much difference between the main parties.

There probably still isn't - the chasm seems to be between the Labour membership and everyone else - including a lot of Labour MP's.

Can you blame them? Since the party who takes up the centre ground tends to be the one that wins elections? That is actually democracy at work, they're both trying to give what the majority of people want.

Unfortunately that doesn't sit too well with lefties like you, nor does it sit too great with free marketeers like me, but it does mean that we end up with a government that must try to appease both sides of the left vs right argument. I think it's a good thing.
