I need to remind myself that the better we become – and we are definitely getting better – the more expensive it is to find players who'll improve us. During the past week, I'm sure we tried desperately to find a player or three for a total of 30 million WHO WOULD DEFINITELY HELP US, but those players were sought by other clubs as well. I also need to remind myself that as frustrated as we fans become during days like this, Steve Parish et al must feel vastly more frustrated than we do.
