So Michael Gove, a staunch leave campaigner is now telling us Brexit will be damaging for our farming and food industries with tariffs and delays at ports. Not only that farmers have no idea about what subsidies they can expect after we leave, that has left them in total limbo This is a politician who would have told you such things were project fear, now realising its project fact

If he is such a staunch Brexiteer then why is he supporting that appalling Theresa May deal? I am afraid he lost all creditability with me when he stabbed BoJo in the back. I am no longer a fan of BoJo either but what Gove did was wrong and puts him on the suspect list (along with most of the Tory MPs). Edited by Badger11 (04 Jan 2019 10.51am)

Opportunist or not I'm sure that he will never be given the top job as the powers that be must be aware that he is a vote loser and Gove as leader of the Conservatives means Corbyn as the next PM

Michael Gove, April 2016 Cameron and May's europe graves already dug, he should stay away from the PM's job, it is obvious he will only join them. Along with Jeremy now I think.

So true but instead of tough negotiations we just rolled over and let Barnier tickle our tummy

I've done a few negotiations in my time. I wouldn't have fancied that one much.

Good luck with that I don't think so as I've heard that as Jeremy Corbyn has said that Labour would be much better at negotiating every aspect of Brexit that the Tories will ask Diane Abbot to conduct all of the trade negotiations
