Waters was undoubtedly the artistic driving force. However Gilmour also has unique talent , in terms of guitar work and his vocals and production. Waters version wouldn't have been the massive seller that the original is. It's very good. But not great, like the original. Edited by Forest Hillbilly (04 Oct 2023 7.02pm)

He is milking the Floyd material for all it's worth so he's not being as particularly clever as he thinks he is. Trouble is, as a long time Floyd Fanatic from the old Eel Pie Island days, I love it although I much prefer the direction Nick Mason went with his Saucerful of Secrets band.
