Then both went bust not long after......
They have new owners come in that run it the same as before and having the likes of Harry Redknapp what you expect that guy destroys clubs. Wigan had been battling relegation and switching managers they then was relegated also they had new overs come in but due to timing covid hit this is what put them in trouble.

The (not so) secret is out, Joel Ward is the new Club Captain . . . [Link] Can't see us getting a RB this season. Edited by eagleman13 (11 Aug 2023 12.11pm)
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |

Edited by eagleman13 (11 Aug 2023 12.11pm) I have the feeling in ten years time I’m gonna hear/read the phrase ‘looks like we’re sticking with Ward at RB again’ I love Joel but hope club captain is more a ceremonial role as opposed to indicative of his first team inclusion. Was 5 years ago AWB emerged and I thought ‘thank goodness’ as it was time to move in from Wardy in that position. Can feel as though we’ve not moved on when I see him pop up there in lieu of other options available.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

No striker, no right back. Nice to see Dougie earning his corn again.

Adama Traore is going to Fulham on a free. I am sure we are working on great deals for other quick, relatively tricky wingers ON A FREE TRANSFER so we won't regret missing out /s

I suspect this is a move from one bench to another albeit one better paid, in London and in a team that won't go down. We need a striker to lead the line from kick off match after match.
