It would be great to see couple more signings. IMO need a box to box midfielder and cover at left back. However been ok window. Last year we were praising Dougie and Parish it was one of our best windows in years. Important to keep some perspective

Perhaps I’m in the minority, but I think the squad is strong. I’m a bit concerned about LB cover, but Schlupp can do that when Macca is fit. Gallagher would have been amazing but I guess Chelsea don’t want to sell. No point splashing mega bucks on average players, sometimes you just have to wait. Eze, Olise, Andersen, Guéhi are the sort of £15-£20m signings we should be patient for. We’re not gonna be in a relegation scrap so no need to be desperate. We’ll assess where we are again in January and will make necessary signings then. Ebiowei, Richards and Doucoure all seem like shrewd business so far. Not sure if Johnstone was needed with Butland in our ranks.

Balancing act to make the club sustainable v spending huge sums. The transfer policy of younger and hungry players seems better than older ones looking for last pay day. I think it would help if post window club give some context as to the window as to our business. Feel this often lacking and ends in us speculating !! Or maybe we just enjoy that !!!

Are we pushing on tho? Are we a better squad than last season, surely that’s the aim when going into recruitment for the summer.? Should we have lost kouyete, Plange and Benteke if this plan?
