BJ on Marr reminded me very much of Blackadder's wibble plan. The man is a dangerous, racist, homophobic, working class hating buffoon. And the opposition is in the grip of a antisemitic, terrorist sympathising campaign socialist who hates anyone other than the working class. This are pretty s*** times. Would rather Boris gets in to try and prise Labour from the grip of momentum. It's going to be a while before we get a decent political party.

Boris Johnson is not only eloquent, he is a polymath and a man of articulacy and personal charm. I haven't posted here for several weeks but couldn't let this pass. I realise that you are a fully signed up member of the nasty party who give them a free pass on everything but you cannot really believe this. Can you? As Marr told him this morning he is a "blusterer" who doesn't answer questions but sticks to the lines he has been given. When he strays off script he gets things wrong and ends up lying, as he did again today. Johnson could be amusing in an annoying way if our situation wasn't so serious but he is no polymath. Such a term applies only to great thinkers and Johnson is a thinking lightweight. Having had a privileged education and the opportunity to study the classics doesn't make you a thinker. It just means you have some quotes that make you appear that way. Johnson needs to send Corbyn the biggest Christmas present possible this year because without him he would be suffering total humiliation. As it is we all will be.
For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally. |

Didn’t you claim to be a remainer tory?

Supporting terrorists I don't agree with (although many Governments have supported terrorists dependant on your definition of terrorists). Anti-Semitism I am very much against. I am also against homophobia, being anti-Muslim and racism. Are you?

Homophobia. I've several gay mates and family members (of both sexes). Terms such as 'bumboys, bender etc are in regular use,by them as much as us. We get called breeders. It's how people interact and talk with each other.

He's what you'd expect from someone who was raised as part of a class system where he was born to lead. I wouldn't say he's anti or pro anything or anyone other than himself. Sometimes that may align with the interests of others though. By which I mean that in terms of 'getting brexit done', he's the only show in town, so is fit for purpose at least.

I'm against homophilia, Islamophilia and accusations of racism are mostly a crock of BS produced by those with agendas. Anti semitism seems to be anything concerning Jews that isn't spoken about in glowing terms. But Jews, are actually a benefit in my view.....though I'm not blowing air up anyone's arse just because they want everyone to walk on eggshells.
