I don't know whether you have a season ticket, but mine has a block, row and seat number that's been paid for in full for the season. So I do own mine for the rest of the season at least. I don't sit in block E, but if I did, and were in the same position, perhaps I'd listen if CPFC were to to make me an offer I couldn't resist. (Alternative seat of my choice, a free pie and pint every game, and a home visit from one of the Crystals every week should do it). Its an idea not to be sniffed at!

Not directly related to the HF issue but, the location of the away fans next to the family stand, where do do have a lot of younger fans, families etc means they get the most vile abuse from the away fans. What a terrible experince for families and kids. Not all away fans equally as bad but some, Liverpool , Brighton and Swansea come straight to mind ,are terrible. Originally posted by becky
Can't be done unless the club are prepared to pay (a very substantial amount too, I believe) for a police presence inside the ground - this is why they were moved to the far end of the Arthur, away from the HF - that way they only need club stewards to enforce safety.
Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

I'm with the club on this one. Oh hang on....I'm with the club on most stuff....because you know...I support Crystal Palace...the football club. If a club annoys you that much, just stop supporting it..or just start caring less about it.....these are businesses at the end of the day and a bit of perspective is required. Edited by Stirlingsays (04 Sep 2018 10.37am) Funnily enough I support the club as a club. Its original intent was that we are all in the club. Owners come and go and don’t always have the same objectives as the club ‘members’. In my book we are all members of the club to the extent we join in, regardless of loyalty points or other bureaucratic requirements. It isn’t a normal business. I do not ‘support’ a cinema or a theatre.

As they say on Match of the Day, we should be talking about the game, but instead we're sitting here talking about a small minority of Palace fans who like to sing, support the players when they need it most and passionately declare their love for the game. The worst thing is, their enthusiasm is infectious, and soon even the most sanctimonious old fart will start joining in with the chants. Before you know it, they've created an atmosphere, there are endorphins released into the bloodstream and people are starting to feel a sense of well being. If we're not careful, this could lead to happiness. I've seen it happen on foreign grounds. DOn't think it couldn't happen here!! Well let me just say, there's no place for inspirational leadership at this club. These so-called Holmesdale Fanatics must be put in the army. Edited by OhthisbloodyPC (08 Sep 2018 12.41pm)

I think what most people are saying on here and in the wider footballing community of the premier league is that the Holmesdale fanatics are truly miss and we would love them back !

It's funny how after a weeks break people are again going against the HF. After Newcastle in 2 weeks however we will all again be reminded of how much they do for us and everyone will posting to get them back after 90 minutes of broken chants and silent pauses. Let's not forget these boys were there before the premier league. They've invested time and money into the club with the displays long before the good days!let's not forget Wembley too. I feel people need to be less sensitive around the issue and just help make a move happen. Obviously some people may lose out (many in block e may not care) but it's for the greater gold of the club. It's not often you get such a positive fan base in English football, let's not ruin that.
