Blimey class? How quaint. No perhaps not but most intelligent people aspire to better things. Denying them that opportunity isn't something I like much.

Talk about exaggeration. 52 to 48 is not imposing it's democracy....The opposite has been imposed on me for decades and I doubt you gave a damn.

There's a lot of money in construction....it's not a small industry. The importing of foreigners has certainly hurt the wages of many British people who work within that particular industry for sure.....and indeed discouraged many from joining it who might have.

So having finally reached a point when we both agreed that we've all been shafted by our politicians and that we at least have something we can both get equally pissed off about, you revert to calling out the perceived difference in our social status and fall back on the irrelevance that keeps us from presenting a common face to a common enemy. I don't give a crap about Brexit. You won. We should leave without a deal. No idea if we will. Probably not. And then...

There's a bit more to construction than just digging holes. You went from hole digging to house building not me.

I was just stating the reality of the differences in opportunities that exist for different social classes in response to your question. I believe in meritocracy I just don't like rigged meritocracy and we all know that's how it works....it's impossible to end without doing more damage than good....but it's a moral point to make I suppose.
