The more he reveals about his parents the more I like them. Perhaps the apple fell so far from the tree it ended up in someone else's pond. Edited by Stirlingsays (27 Jan 2024 1.53pm)

Yet more b0llocks from the left. 'Inclusive'? Who the feck was being excluded? I almost can't wait for the tidal wave of it under Starmer.....though we probably won't be allowed to point and laugh at this nonsense. [Tweet Link]

Edited by Stirlingsays (27 Jan 2024 3.34pm) The irony in the ‘inclusive’ bit is that to be included you need to stop trying to highlighting that you are different. I don’t really care how gay or black you are.

The Tories will probably need that clear out to be convinced that red meat conservativism is their only way back. More likely is that after a Starmer huge majority the Tories will turn significantly right and drop the uniparty stuff. That will mean that essentially Reform no longer needs to exist. Labour are going to make an even worse hash of things than the Tory social liberals and of course the 'woke' will be on steroids. The coming years won't be fun but it'll be as fascinating as ever.....if these fecks don't manage to get us nuked and we can still feed ourselves that is. Edited by Stirlingsays (27 Jan 2024 6.00am)

Essentially they are just a load of insecure tarts that social liberals and lefties pander to. The rainbow flag is their secular belief system.

Not even allowed to fly military planes anymore ? not wanted, not loved, not needed, not welcome, not valued, and certainly not respected. Now , on telly, we have marauding bands of Vikings being led by a clever black woman. Well, you know the old adage. "weak men make tough times, strong men make good times" next to go extinct ? a straight white James Bond.

Though I think if they touch Bond with the DEI stick it'll spell its end.

Excellent video detailing what's gone wrong in woke Hollywood and the fearful dissenting voices coming out from within that failing industry.

Layoffs, nothing to see here Hollywood expands and contracts like a diaphragm it always has done it is a precarious business. 2. The writers who say the did not read the source material e.g. comic books before writing the scripts I don't believe them. How did they know that Superman was from Krypton then? The reason these blockbuster movies are now starting to fail is more about boredom than woke. It's the same movie whether it's Superman, Batman or whatever. They have done it to death and now the public are slowly losing interest. 3. Go woke, go broke. It's all well and good writing a movie where two gay characters get it on hot and heavy but it will be banned or heavily edited in many parts of the world. The USA is no longer the biggest market for movies, the money men know this and they will eventual push Hollywood into the realisation that blockbuster movies need to reach all markets. Hollywood will recover, it always has good and bad years, the woke wont go away but as Don Cheadle says "Hollywood is prejudiced in favour of Green." Edited by Badger11 (31 Jan 2024 7.25am)

Edited by Badger11 (31 Jan 2024 7.25am) I hardly think you need to have read the comics to know that Superman came from Krypton. Most people would have watched a Superman movie at some point. When you say it's about boredom, I think with the saturation of superhero movies there's an aspect of that.. And of course Hollywood is still making movies that break the billion dollar mark, last year with Barbie and Oppenheimer....but I think the general theme of the video was quite telling. Still, while the 'woke, go broke' meme doesn't really reflect how it all works (rules and corporate monopoly), there is definitely an effect there. Hollywood made good money during the 30s depression by giving people what they wanted, while this time around it's just an activist roadshow. So while you may think it's just going through its expansion and contraction cycle personally I think that unless it changes course (which I'm doubtful about) its only going to continue to underperform. I see competitors to Hollywood emerging as the DEI is effectively a blacklist and talent will work elsewhere....essentially conservative or even non group think creators are aware that's attempting to make it in Hollywood requires lying and that doesn't work long term.
