Spending money and going bust are not binary. In terms of the squad and spending money we are always on a shoe string budget. Palace are the only club who it appears to adhere to FFP. Yes our ownership model seems a mess, certainly in terms of recruitment budgets but the whole being skint or the poor relation is in our DNA for as long as I can remember. The stadium clearly has a lot to do with that. Hasn’t held back Bournemouth however who have made some good signings and actually invested in the quality of their squad. We on the other hand have bought Franca and must be happy with that.

COYP Agree entirely about his bellendery. The only scenario better than that would be if Kane is a secret Eagle and Selhurst is his dream destination. Might have to crowd fund his wages though.

Kane always bottles the big moments. Croatia semi final 2018 World Cup missed chances. 2019 CL final v Liverpool did nothing. 2021 Euros final v Italy missed chances and the quarter final of the World Cup v France 2022 took an awful pen. He will bottle this moment too and stay with a bang average Spurs team. Well still no decent signings this week and you lot still love Parish god help us!

Why the concern about Eze going to Spurs ? He is hardly a like for like replacement for Kane.

Sounds like we are signing Hall today but apart from that it has gone very quiet on strikers and wingers which is what we really need. Wilf was a 10-14 goal a season player we have to replace those goals.
