May 2017 4-0 win against Hull managed by Marco Silva, think that's the one you mean.

I really, really want to finish above Chelsea and it feels really doable. Still can't believe we've given them 6 points this season.

I'd far rather do that than influence who goes down.

And 6 points in each of the previous 4 seasons...and a free gift FA Cup Final place last season

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

One thing that annoys me is that some of our fans are quick to blame our constant losses to teams like Chelsea simply on the fact they are a bigger team and higher in the league. Firstly, we used to pull the pants down of at least two of the top 6-8 every year and secondly I remember distinctly the same argument being used this season and yet we are one of very few teams not to take any points off them.

Loads of unusual results this year and yet ours have been pretty predictable, beat the rubbish, capitulated against those of a lofty status. We should be better than that.

Yep that's it!

I seem to remember they gifted us an early goal and had a young Harry Maguire playing that day!

When I was growing up in the 60s, my whole family supported Fulham and Chelsea, remember Chelsea grass growing up through the tunnel whatever, I hated going to watch them play, then my family realised I love CPFC, in old third division think we had to beat Wrexham for promotion, as I grew up in penge, I have seen Palace high and lows but if ever relegation again I still love Palace, as they are close to my heart, live Asia now still love

You are not wrong. They gifted us an early goal we fans could hardly believe and then fell to pieces and yes a young Harry M was playing for them that day.

Andrew Robertson, now of Liverpool, was Hull's left-back.

I believe Hull suffered a heavy defeat in their next game, the last game of the season, but I cannot remember their opponents or the scoreline.

I think it sent Hull down, we are a bit like that.

Zaha gift, Benteke, Luka and PVA.

They lost 1-7 at home to Tottenham, Willo. Meanwhile we - in a typical Palace attempt at staunching any euphoria generated by the performance against Hull - were meekly capitulating against Man Utd.

Thank you for the information.

A young Jarrod Bowen was at Hull that season, signed from Hereford. He came on as a substitute in the 4-0 game.
