It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

It frustrates me also that another fellow professional (supposdley) Ward Prowse will aggravate him to react as he did, and then when the red card was shown Ward Prowse walks past with a smile on his face and punchimng the air. Hope next time he comes to Selhurst he gets a real South London welcome!!, t***.

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Wilf Ban' by Midlands Eagle Part of the problem is that Wilf has become entrenched in victim mode, and its not a good place to be, and hard to get out of. However put upon he feels, and whatever injustices he senses are being perpetrated against him, continually moaning and behaving petulantly doesn't in the end help. All that it does is gain you a reputation as a petulant moaner, and someone the opposition love to goad. Andros also gets a bit of a battering, perhaps not as much as Wilf, but he dusts himself down and gets on with it, but as a result of that doesn't get targeted by the opposition wind-up merchants. I also wonder if he feels that he has gone as far as he can with Palace and needs a fresh challenge, and that this is frustrating him as well.

It’s because it is a professional game with massive financial implications riding on the results, it’s win at all costs. Always has been. Look, I don’t disagree with you but Wilf must learn to play the game too and that doesn’t mean doing what he did.

I reckon this is the case. He just doesn't seem to be enjoying his football at the moment. Even when he made the goal against spurs and scored against saints, his celebrations were fairly muted.

He can be unplayable, so he gets the treatment. I really hope he takes a look at Dele Alli. He was targeted, bit it, got wound up and it spoilt his game. He seems to have learnt to take it. Wild please stop acting like your the only one who gets the treatment and fulfill your potential.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

This post has been merged from a topic called 'The Wilfried Zaha Thread' by Midlands Eagle This post has been merged from a topic called 'Wilf Ban' by Midlands Eagle The players know the rules, but they must be backed up by the FA sanctioning their refs when they screw up, as Marriner did badly last night. I'll only concede Wilf's ban if Marriner gets some sort of punishment too as he cost us two points and Wilf's presence in the next few games. He has to take responsibility for Wilf losing his rag as he's the only one who can punish the offenders, principally Romeuo and Ward-Prowse, neither of whom were even booked. I'm bloody angry about it just sat in my armchair, it's no wonder Wilf lost his rag.

Great, they have apparently charged Wilf with improper conduct which probably means 3 or 5 match ban rather than 1. Lets hope our legal team are better than our scouting team and they go for mitigating circumstances ie Ward-Prowses antics, lack of protection from the ref, incompetence throughout from the ref (highlight the Andros tackle and Tompkins from corner). I think a 3 match ban.

Just heard via the 'Addy' he's been charged with 'Improper Conduct' & has until 5th Feb to reply. Could be an extra 1 game ban &/or large fine(imo)
This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise. |
