Why you guys cannot see that beats me!

If you check you said his much wider criticism of Islam.
I was putting reasons why he would do this.
Your words wissy.

Correct Answer. I have no truck with TR, but when I see militant islamists openly espousing their crap it appears to me a one sided argument.

There is no one else well known in Britain pushing back against the spread of this:....literally no one.....Douglas Murray wrote a book and spoke about a few years back but he's largely given up now.....death threats and career harm.

Let me show you what's happening in parts of the country and what the left and the neo liberal types living in Cornwall want for your children's future.

Let's go to Savile Town, West Yorkshire where now it's 1 percent white.

Remember, without Robinson the left and the government can continually spread the lie that this is accepted within the UK......when the reality is....the whites moved out once they moved in.

And none of them live in these areas.....and their politics and wishy washy ideology enabled it.

Him being convicted on contempt charges has no connection to that.

Sure I have bias, it tends to be towards the truth.

You have bias but you spend time denying it as you make your ridiculous arguments.

You do push the boundaries of credibility sometimes don't you? Your relation to the truth is similar to your hero in the WH! For both of you it's whatever you happen to think is true.

As my own bias is towards objective truth, rather than opinion masquerading as truth, I feel quite comfortable knowing that you think my arguments are "ridiculous". I would feel concern if you agreed with me, given your track record.

I've looked at that and I don't see anywhere where it says it appoints judges to specific cases.....only that it appoints judges into being judges.

The fact reminds that Robinson was freed from his ridiculous prison sentence only for the attorney general of this land.....a standing MP who has made previous anti Robinson comments....to send him to retrial.

Your contention that all the money being spent on this by the government is just being left up to chance a second time just exposures your contentions for the biased simplistic buffoonery that they are.

You claimed that the AG was involved in the appointment. He wasn't. Not only does he not appoint Judges he has no role to which Judge cases get allocated.

The fact remains that the Judges found "Robinson" guilty in the first trial, which was then overturned on a technicality. The fact remains that he was found guilty in the second trial, which was held after the result of the first was referred to the AG and he decided that there were public interest considerations. From our local paper:-

"A statement from the Attorney General's office said Mr Cox had reached his decision based on an assessment of the evidence and whether it was in the "wider public interest".

Mr Cox said: "After carefully considering the details of this case, I have concluded there are strong grounds to bring fresh contempt of court proceedings against Stephen Yaxley-Lennon (AKA Tommy Robinson)".

That the AG is a sitting Tory MP is obvious. He could hardly not be. Nor is it surprising he has previous made critical comments about "Robinson". Many MPs have, in fact I cannot think of one MP who has supported him. (even Farage has distanced himself).

Obviously bringing the case was thought to be important. I agree. "Robinson" has been attracting a lot of attention, and raising lots of money for himself through his behaviour, and has been inciting people to react. Whilst protest is fine, the kind of direct action that exists on the fringes of those who support him, and the threats of violence that come from some of them, must never be tolerated. As I have said many times, "Robinson" is no hero. He is a loutish rabble rouser with a very dubious history. It is only right that when he steps over the line he is not allowed to get away with it. We cannot allow such precedents.

Typical Wisbech....when something is for his bias suddenly the motivation of people is something you are very happy to attribute to them....as seen in the Trump thread.

However, when the contention is against your bias then the reasons why something is done is suddenly a mystery to you.

The difference is as obvious as anything could be. Assigning motivation to people like Trump is easy to determine, for he makes no attempt to disguise it. When the UK legal system makes an opaque decision to vary the charges no-one, other than an informed lawyer, ought to venture an opinion. The only thing I am quite sure of is that there could not have been any kind of "political" motivation. Never confuse "public interest" with politics. I am quite sure all the politicians would have supported the AG in this, whatever their particular political leanings.

State persecution......convicted on subjective charges by a corrupt state.

Rubbish. He was preaching to the audience outside and nothing else. Just more rabble rousing. I would have given him an extra 3 months for disrespect.
The idea that the UK is a "corrupt state" that would hold a "show trial" and "persecute" one of it's citizens shows just how biased you are! This is not the attitude of a proud Englishman who supports his country through thick and thin. Who stands up for our heritage and envied system of justice. This is the view of someone who has lost touch with reality. "Robinson" is a convicted criminal, who has been through due process and presumably has the right of appeal. The law protects everyone from persecution, whatever it's source. Prove it, and he walks free with compensation and a story to sell. I am not holding my breath.

The thread is about TR not just the court case.
It appears you think it is just about recent events.
What's your take on my statements about Islam anyhow.
Wrong am I?
You will say "this thread isnt about that so start another and I (may) comment wanting all the facts to back up what you have written"
There you are wissy, done it for you.

Those are perfectly legitimate arguments and ones that need to be made and discussed.

I do though take issue that "Robinson" has helped with this debate. He hasn't. He has stirred up hatred and given succour to some pretty nasty elements in our society. We need cooler heads than his to lead this discussion.

I had relatives who moved out of Southall in the '60s and moved, strangely enough to Cornwall, because of the influx from India and Africa that happened then. Many of these considerations were in play then but the incoming communities have largely prospered and become accepted. I passed through Heathrow yesterday, and was served by a variety of British asians, all very helpful, polite and undoubtedly British, sharing the humour and accent. Close your eyes and you would not know we looked different. It just takes time, schooling and patience. Heathrow could not operate without them.

If anyone has read this post by this enabler and hasn't clicked on those links already.....do so, because that's the reality of what he enables.

He lives in Cornwall.....There are words and then there are actions.

Robinson is an imperfect hero...he's the only one out there fighting publicly..... and Wisbech is someone.....someone who should be living in Savile Town.....living with the reality of what he enables.

In fifty years time this country will either have statues to Robinson or....what is currently more likely a Mosque replacing all our churches and within each Englishman's view....Which in fifty years will be a minority in the country.

What hatred; when prior to this court episode he said what he saw and knew.
It's a shame that a minority of muslims have tarred many but when many more openly want sharia law which isnt in our culture that minority grows.
Hatred if it is happening is the fear of being blown up, stabbed or forced into a religion not wanted. Strangely muslims are not pressured to become Christian's but if they want to they virtually sign their own.... I wont write it.
Xenophobia is a reality which isnt against the law to have.
yet!
