Children are already dying from experimental medical interventions they don’t need and it’s “not a big deal”. Let’s see what the longer term effects are and how people on here might choose to side with corporate media and ignore it. Because the signals are already there and I hope they all survive their multiple jabs at least long enough to see it. All I would say is don’t come on here with your cancer, heart problems, neurological issues, POTS, autoimmune, Prion, reproductive issues etc and ask for sympathy from Exactly what are you categorising as "experimental medical interventions"? I trust not the vaccines, or you will be guilty of spreading conspiracy theories of the type which are costing many people's lives in Third World countries. I wouldn't ask for sympathy from you in any circumstances. I have rarely known anyone less empathetic, let alone sympathetic. You think you know everything about subjects you know nothing about. All you do is repost discredited nonsense from the internet. A source of much misinformation. My children and grandchildren have all been vaccinated. They are sensible and all perfectly fine. A friend has just had a double heart bye-pass, was in ICU but now back on the ward. The hospitals are under pressure but still functioning. There's nothing "going on". People like you need to stop spreading these stories, as if they mean anything. There will be things we learn as the impact of Covid itself becomes better understood. To try to attribute them to the vaccines is simply irresponsible.

Not in any way. The best decision was taken at the time to deal with the situation that existed then. Our knowledge grows. Things change. When they do, our response changes. It's not a big deal. At the time we already knew that children are fine if they catch covid. and also most adults with a 99.9 percent chance of survival

My family in Australia have been respectfully imploring me and my dear wife to visit them 'Down Under' towards the end of this year during the period when there are no PL games on account of the World Cup. Having discovered that the wearing of face coverings on some (Perhaps many) airlines is still mandatory, that this applies to any carrier entering Australia and that coverings are still required on public transport etc in "Oz" my wife and I have decided not to make the journey. If countries wish to continue taking the piss, they're not getting our business.

At the time we already knew that children are fine if they catch covid. and also most adults with a 99.9 percent chance of survival That's an old excuse. The whole point about vaccinating children was not to protect them. They weren't vulnerable. It was to protect their vulnerable grannies and grandads. With the most recent virus variations meaning that the vaccinations protect against severe disease, but not against infection (my wife has caught it twice this year already) the emphasis has shifted to ensuring everyone vulnerable gets vaccinated. As things change, so must we. The decision at the time was wise, in the light of what we knew then.

Edited by Willo (11 Aug 2022 10.38am) Wearing masks and showing you are fully vaccinated is mandatory on all flights I have booked recently, and includes Europe, the USA and Asia. I cannot see that being relaxed anytime soon. It seems eminently sensible as I, and most others I know, wouldn't book a flight for which such requirements weren't mandatory. It seems such a small price to pay to get to see your family, alongside doing the most you can to protect your own, and others, health. Taking a stand over such a principle seems daft to me. Mind you, you also think it's right that our PM gets chosen by the Tory membership, so it sort of makes sense. Edited by Wisbech Eagle (11 Aug 2022 1.56pm)

I recently flew from London to Thailand with Thai Airways who currently have a mandatory face mask policy. The number of people actually wearing them could be counted on the fingers of one hand, and the crew made no attempt to enforce the rule. Different story within Thailand though, where people wear masks at all times other than when eating or drinking, even though the guidance is to wear them in crowded indoor places .... No masks on flight both ways, COVID 'passport' was needed however I honestly cannot recall a single person wearing a mask on plane or over there and we were there a while and did/saw quite a bit.

Pretty selfish to be honest! Get you vax and wear you mask by all means. But dont risk the lives of our children on something they do not need. my 90 year old grand mother who is unvaxxed loves hugging her unvaccinated children.

I travelled to Europe on an aircraft, a couple of months ago, there was NO mandatory requirement to wear a face covering on the aircrafts and all the passengers I saw were not wearing a mask. I am certainly NOT spending a significant amount of money, travelling to and from Australia with a mask attached to my face.
