Getting back to the virus - my goddaughter visited over the weekend and was telling me that she has been diagnosed as being diabetic. Strangely, when she was referred to the diabetes clinic there were 4 other women there, all around her age (37 - 42), all of whom had been previously diagnosed with long covid following infection, and all of whom were now being told that their pancreases were shot to pieces which was the cause of the diabetes. Yet another co-incidence of a group of similarly aged women suddenly developing the same medical problem.... Of course it couldn’t be anything else:

Edited by Stirlingsays (07 Aug 2022 10.54pm) Not scared at all. I have always faced down a threat, by refusing to engage. I despise any kind of bully boy culture, and always have. Those who think things can be settled that way disgust me. They really are the pussies, thinking they are big men just because they have big muscles. Bigger brains will always win in the end. We have laws to deal with bullies. I am a law-abiding citizen.

Yes, some people appear to be affected by the vaccines. In this case one 73 year old lady who had a potential predisposition to diabetes. As the article says In recipients with the disease-susceptible haplotypes, one should be cautious about autoimmune responses for several months after the vaccination. Meanwhile many people that caught Covid before vaccines were available are suffering. Especially post long Covid. Those affected are overwhelmingly far younger than that lady. Thirty children in hospitals across north-west London presented with new-onset type 1 diabetes during the peak of the pandemic, approximately double the number of cases typically seen in this period in previous years. So perhaps you can do simple arithmetic.

If they took it under their own power...even if they went on trust it's their own decision for good or ill....but forcing people to put something in their body under force of the sack is a whole different ball game. Edited by Stirlingsays (08 Aug 2022 1.37pm) We tried to prevent non vaccinated people working with people that would almost certainly die if they caught the virus. Things are very different now. People are more likely to survive both due to vaccination and also anti viral drugs. You probably have no idea how those people that infected and caused to die those in their care felt. A few people left during that period but it didn’t last long. Nobody was forced to have a vaccine. Some didn’t like not working directly with vulnerable people

Some didn’t like not working directly with vulnerable people I accept the situation in care homes was difficult, but I find it very hard to accept a mandate. Really, it's not about vaccination it's more about whether that individual has anti bodies. There is always another way. These would have been the few situations where I would have accepted furloughing for those without antibodies and or re-direction to other jobs until they have antibodies. The problem arises here that the Karens and Kens can then say, if these people aren't acceptable then why are the unvaccinated allowed in hospitals....and it continues on from there. Edited by Stirlingsays (08 Aug 2022 1.39pm) Don't be so ridiculous. I have zero interest in seeking out opportunities to have to face anyone down. I have much better things to do with my life than that, even if you don't. I just have done it on the rare occasions it proved necessary. If ever I feel the need to take legal action, trust me, I do. I cannot imagine a situation which would justify that here, but if I did, it would not be at the behest of you, or anyone else. That you think people like me are "cowards" says so much more about your mental state than anything I could. That you take so much exception at being regarded as a "pussy" shows how insecure you really are. Such comments roll off my back like the proverbial duck's. I think you really need to take the advice given you and take a break. Something isn't quite right.

These days more and more I feel like i made the correct informed decision to not get vaccinated. The more stories I hear the more vindicated I feel.

Someone with whom you said you would no longer interact. Wisbech shows no sign of being disturbed. What is it about you that you must ‘win’ at all costs? Just walk away, you won’t grind him down. Consider what Einstein said about people repeating a pattern and expecting different outcomes.

Expect to see no more of this. He threw away his medical certificate, probably as he’s about to lose it anyway.
