I was at the Lyon game, but I've missed a lot of the other friendlies; has Ebiowei actually played in preseason? His loan at Hull didn't seem that fruitful. He looked really exciting when he arrived but seems to have vanished.

In the newly revised teams lists on the palace website, Franca is listed as one of 4 forwards in the 1st team squad

PS The only Academy players now listed in the 1st team squad are
- Whitworth
- Ebiowei
- Rak-Sakyi.

O'Brien, Phillips and Ozoh are only listed under the U21s.

Apparently a lot of interest in him. We've turned down offers.

It’s getting worrying now that there’s hardly any players being linked with us and that other clubs around us are starting to get players in.
My opinion bournemouth signing a very good player in Alex Scott from Bristol city

I always think when people start stressing about other teams signing players, it doesn’t always mean they’re going to work out or strengthen their team, just because they throw a bit more money around than us.

All the Bale money went on players, why wouldn't the Kane money?

'Bale' is an anagram of 'Abel'.

Abel's brother was 'Cain'

Cain and Abel's story is covered in 'Exodus'.

This post is about an exodus from (what I call) White Hart Lane.

I’m more interested in keeping the players we have, most of whom are proven and I rate, than signing others who may or may not be any good. As for signing a decent striker that’s up there with time travel.

True, but it clearly shows the ambition of Bournemouth in particular. Ambition is what many want associated with palace. We virtually never do enough. Perennial peasants

I’m exactly the same this close season dave, we’ve proved that we’re one of the best teams in the bottom half and I’m happy to get through the window holding on to the likes of Andersen, Guehi, Doucoure, Eze and Olise. A new striker would be nice, but I’m not losing any sleep over it

I remember Stoke, Wigan, West Brom, Pompey and Sunderland showing ‘ambition’ by throwing money at it, where are they now?

I'll raise you Kane/Sorloth for Aguero & Benteke. As for the crisps, Cheese n Onion & they have to be either Lays or Kettle Crisps. No other choices.

Agree about Lays
