I was on holiday in the North and got chatting. This bloke described London as "foreigners serving foreigners". Thought you might like that. Indeed. Minorities are always going to advocate for whatever works against the majority (with esteemed exceptions). It's the same wherever in the world. Minorities with money....well, certain sensible countries in the world ensure that their sphere of influence is curtailed. Once they take power....well, that's it until economic collapse. Unfortunately London loved money to the extent that it sold itself out. Along with our politicians doing that to their people. I believe that one day it will be returned by a future generation....one that will be extremely p1ssed off by the disenfranchised position their post war ancestors left them in. Overseas in Europe it'll happen sooner but here in Britain we are in the position where the majority of young people actually believe the lies that socialism tells. So like Argentina they have to live through what the reality is before understanding what these things mean in practice. Here is Milei's 2024 Davos talk, which has been edited to make it look like he's speaking in English. He makes some excellent points here and also pokes the motivations and self serving politics of Davos directly in the eye. [Tweet Link]

Davos... To cut and paste something I saw: The place where: 1. Men who hire prostitutes deliver speeches on gender equality. 2. tycoons arrive in private jets to persuade you to ride a bicycle. 3. Billionaires assure you that you can be happy without having anything. Essentially a meeting place jolly for the rich and powerful to convince themselves that designing systems to ensure that they keep their wealth and power while you pay for it is a good thing. Here is another example of the rot and decline set in motion by the left in this country which should give considerable concern to anyone sensible for Britain's economic future to come. Please bear in mind that when you watch this video....a debate on reparations held in the Cambridge debating chamber....that what you are watching here are those being groomed as your institutional leadership. I was raised in relative poverty on an council estate in Stockwell and I have to tell you how embarrassing and shocking it is to watch the behaviour and low standards on display here. It is for this reason that I venture the suggestion that Britain will have to go though a costly generation of decline and suffering of self imposed egalitarian and socialist ideas until it can emerge...maybe, just maybe (depending on the remaining demographics) with a new generation forged from the experiences and outcomes of bad ideas. Edited by Stirlingsays (19 Jan 2024 2.34pm) "Bad times make strong men, strong men make good times, good times make weak mean, weak men make bad times" - Danny Granville. I think there's a lot of truth there. Off the back of World Wars and other woes we've seen much peace and the likes of technological advancement etc. in the West. Many in the West have therefore become so comfortable they're now actively seeking different avenues to feel important, using the energy left over that would previously be preserved for mere survival. Police Forces barely recognised as institutions, even being demonised, rapid migration (much of it illegal), nonsense ideas masquerading ironically as being 'progressive', widening economic inequality, propaganda/influencing/grooming/echo chambers off the scale as a result of mass media, children stabbing eachother to death frequently, so on and so forth. The 'globalism', 'fall of the west' and 'great replacement' chatter is a bit too obscure and hysterical for me, or maybe it seems so as I've not paid it much attention, but does not feel completely removed from the reality. Equally, some sort of catalytic moment to change the tide is hard to envisage but does feel likely, if not inevitable. Haven't watched the video yet Stirling, obliged to attend an incredibly boring meeting currently which may require my input/response any moment, but I'm guessing it's something to boil the blood...
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Dude, I almost don't want to recommend you watch it now. Calvin Robinson tries to speak to them in both a humble and rational manner. Yet the behaviour from them is quite something. The decline evident in what's going to come from these places is mind boggling. To think of the intellects this country produced, only to be ultimately reduced to this shower. Edited by Stirlingsays (19 Jan 2024 3.12pm) Well that's the thing, they need something new to explore for/to justify their status so I can instantly guess at some of the topics they are 'discussing'. I always liked the Matrix films, or the fact the whole coming about of their dystopian future was that the West began 'marvelling' at it's own 'peak in civilisation' (end of 1990'2 early 2000's). Perhaps there was much prophecy in this and therefore those previously held as 'intellectuals' are so hard pushed to advance us beyond where we landed, some of the insanity we see now is labelled as 'progressive' with complete disregard as to what that actually means? Are we progressing toward a better world for all, or just a different one, one that will be vastly different to the relative comfortability we had achieved? I fear the latter and hence the emboldening of weak men and those with any issues/identifiers which place them outside of the characteristics of those to whom we at least once did, owe so much.

What is notable is that the ideological product that these universities are now producing is at such deviance with the common man and woman on the street that they are in effect a self moralising and justifying elite at odds with the majority of the populous they are tasked with leading.

It's exactly that. They often even hijack causes to which they have no natural allegiance or identity with, purely for egotistical, self-satisfying and power-grabbing reasons. The truth is many will not have any real 'cause' to fight for, given the comfort within which they live, so are pursuing their own downfall. As many issues have now become a vehicle for power we see the vast majority of those championing them being Machiavellian types subservient to the 'causes' The amount of times I see race being discussed where socio-economic backgrounds would be of far more relevance is nuts. Typically, it's white people from more privileged backgrounds that would sooner put race into the spotlight than talk about that which actually unites and divides people, as one example. It's quintessential 'divide and conquer' tactics. I won't watch the video and I find, if of any help to anyone else, that the more you watch failures arguing about race, gender etc. the more unaligned with reality you will become. Always far more value just heading out of the house, perhaps just the supermarket, and speaking to real people to let you know the vast majority of the world has not completely lost its mind and equally, the vast majority of people are OK.

And is so racist as to support the National football team. Ireland will lead the way. Our allegedly 'Conservative' politicians are like Gary Linekar at a climate march. In the past, straight politicians resigned when caught cheating on their wife. For Shame. But today, Pride is Pride. Proud to wave the flag and call us all prejudiced for any disapproval. Edited by PalazioVecchio (20 Jan 2024 9.27am) For me, I don't really care what WEF lover Leo gets up to. If he wants to cheat on his lover it doesn't register with me. As long as politicians aren't fiddling with kids or raping people it's between them and those affected. Don't get me wrong I don't approve of what he gets up to but it's his private life and I think everyone is entitled to that. I realise that some may feel differently. Personally I can't stand Leo because his politics make him a traitor to his people. Edited by Stirlingsays (21 Jan 2024 6.57pm)
