I have an image of nickgusset walking round his house with his fingers in his ears and humming loudly to convince himself that his understanding of the situation is the correct one.

If you publicly called your boss (in not so many words) a prick, do you think you'd still have a job?
That's effectively what Dugher did, so it was no surprise he lost his place.

I worked very briefly for a couple of pricks in my career, but none that were as bad as Corbyn.

Assuming you are writing from principle as opposed to simply venting silly biased spleen Hoof, then what must you think of Maggie in prick league terms?Champions League winner?

Sacked Francis Pym as Foreign Secretary just because he said he said big majorities can be dangerous..

Jeez a Palace supporter who reads Rod Liddle not to see how the other half think but to have his own views endorsed - how depressing.

Just opened and read my welcome to the HOL message from 2006. I've been lurking a long long time.

What are Palace fans supposed to think?

Please guide me, oh great one.

For themselves might be a good start rather than posting links to a reprehensible Millwall supporting anti semitic, racist w***er who masquerades as a serious journalist.

Or were you hoping that we'd all be impressed that you read The Spectator and bow to your superior intellect?

Did you read the article or simply dismiss it as a 'Liddle' piece, therefore using prejudice rather than reason before critiquing it?

So there's such a thing as a "Liddle piece" is there? I didn't know. And excuse me for answering your question with a question but what does a "Liddle piece" look like if not the right wing rabid ranting of a reprehensible Millwall supporting anti semitic, racist w***er who masquerades as a serious journalist?

No I didn't bother because I'd just finished reading his piece on why we should stand by the Saudis in this weeks Spectator which only served to demonstrate that he has no principles of any description.

So what was it he wrote exactly that you found so compelling as to post a link?

And who, exactly, is ignorant in your thinking?

You'd do a fine job as PM with your refusal to answer a straight question with a straight answer but instead throw about insulting remarks about ignorance. Congratulations.

I'll try again.

What is a "Liddle piece"?

Is it perhaps an article that uses language such as this..

"Let’s leave Labour entirely in the hands of these ageing but perpetually adolescent quasi trot halfwits for a year, and see how the public responds."?
