Just for you though here are two articles detailing the economic benefits of leaving the EU. One from the right wing Telegraph and the other from the left wing Guardian That was just some generalisations from years ago if Brexit was handled well with a seamless transition Here is a more relevant article about economic impact about to hit us. This is the here and now Medical shortages oh and thousands of flights cancelled

Lock yourself in at home, without WiFi. You don't need Brexit to get thousands of flights cancelled; an idiot with a couple of drones could do it. Or someone nicking the "statellite controller dish" from the end of the runway.

I hadn't noticed. You have used it as a shorthand in order to incite fear that your political opponents are using scaremongering tactics that are without real merit. I would not do so, I would argue point for point which is what I have been doing. As an ex lorry driver I am sure the ports will be a huge issue should we leave the EU, especially if that is done quickly. I have watched the successful changes in how goods are handled at ports over the past decades and can still remember how it used to be - which was dreadful. And not because of technology, everything was just complex. As someone interested in agriculture I know this will create a huge change in farming which in my opinion will be for the worse. As someone working in the City I am alarmed and astounded by the shear volume of top jobs that are moving out to other EU countries in advance of Brexit As an ex HR Director in the Healthcare industry, I know that many of the 9% of EU workers in the NHS will move to other countries, I watched the recruitment market change last year. I also know that in the end we shall need just as many immigrant workers across all aspects of healthcare. As an ex HR Director in Private Equity I am deeply aware of how hard it is to hire e.g. good mathematicians in the UK. I used to get them mostly from Romania and Italy, where the education system favours Maths. The effects of Brexit certainly will not be to reduce immigration dramatically in the medium term as we would cripple the country. We will simply have to look more broadly. As a father I have children that wish to work freely across Europe and who already travel to a variety of EU countries regularly. Again, I remember how hard it used to be to get work permits and I know how hard it is to get EU work permits for non-EU citizens at the moment. I was working in Luxembourg trying to hire Russian, US and Chinese citizens so I do know what I am talking about. These are all things I have seen and on which I have commented. Presumably I am operating 'project fear' - simply trying to stamp my feet to get my way. I have argued before that any form of labelling (for example left and right) is not only lazy stereotyping it is also destructive of proper debate and the search for common ground. I stand by that argument.

I suggest companies look beyond the old school tie approach, red brick universities only or nepotism and then they won’t need to hire from bl00dy Romania for a Maths graduate. I also suggest we start investing in training for Uk born nurses and while we’re at it, every other industry we’ve tried to avoid investing in and instead have recruited cheaply from abroad. It doesn’t take a mathematician to see that is unsustainable.
