Me? Quite happy to visit the rainy mothercountry a few times a year but have the pleasant climate of the SW the rest of e time. Have to be very careful how I answer that one. The English Channel is not an ocean and Macedonia is on the same continent, but I dont feel a 'bad' patriot. I am still very pro British (not just English, honest). So I am sure others who have travelled further afield can claim the same. Being away also gives you a different prespective on patriotism and Britishness, as well as seeing how we are viewed by others. I travelled 1000 miles to find a better job and, 18 years later, I dont regret it! Have to be very careful how I answer that one. The English Channel is not an ocean and Macedonia is on the same continent, but I dont feel a 'bad' patriot. I am still very pro British (not just English, honest). So I am sure others who have travelled further afield can claim the same. Being away also gives you a different prespective on patriotism and Britishness, as well as seeing how we are viewed by others.
