1. It's pretty tough on long term season ticket holders to move them if they don't want to be moved* to accommodate fans who sing more

And

2. That the HF have helped improve the atmosphere at Selhurst

?

If so, shouldn't Parish simply induce the HF to return to their corner until the new stand is built?

I'm sure the 35 odd tickets sold in that corner can be sorted out.

* I know I support no automatic seat renewal but we are where we are, and expectations have been created

And do we know if SP made any promises in the first place - I've asked up thread, but no evidence yet.

Depressing thread this.

Couple of things stand out though:

- People are either deliberately misinformed or commenting on something without the correct information. The HF clearly say they sold 180 tickets and have to turn more away, this is not about just 100 seats.

- There is a stark contrast between those who want to go to the football to sit and observe and those who want to go and take part by standing, singing etc. Those that like to sit seem to be adequately catered for while those that don't have outgrown current allocation.

Cant forget sorry - if its not true, it brings the veracity of the rest of the statement into question.

And there will continue to be a stark contrast, because:

Standing. Is. Not. Allowed. In. Premier. League. Football. Stadia.

Lest we forget.

sometimes I tell my kid I'm getting him an ice cream later, then circumstances mean I can't. to him it was a promise, to me it wasn't. to a neutral we are both right. since their claims (the HFs' and Parish's) are a matter of record, all you can do is evaluate them and guess. my guess is that parish, like me with my kid, said 'yeah that should be do-able' and they heard: 'yeah'. to a neutral, both are right, although the HF could have been more precise about it. let's face it, parish is highly unlikely to have used the specific praise "I promise to move you into block e" because any successful person knows "i promise xxx" is normally a phrase best avoided.

Agreed, it does, as P-I-F stated & as i & willo have stated, it is against Ground Regs. Not too sure bout Spuds new ground, but,i know what you meant.

The problem will occur when the FA/PL & local councils have had enough of fans standing & they then decide to 'make an example' & we can all guess which poor litle club will get singled out to BE that example.

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Well these are adults, and SP either did or didn't make them a promise. And if he didn't and is being misrepresented, then the rest of the document is suspect in my view.
