Everton, Leeds and Southampton for me

Would love it so much if that happened. Only thing that would top that would be replacing Southampton with West Ham but thats unlikely to happen now.

In the last 3 seasons they have finished 16th, 10th and 12th but in the three seasons prior they finished in a respectable 8th place twice and 7th.

Having perused Leeds' remaining fixtures, I will be somewhat surprised if they avoid the dreaded drop.

A - Bournemouth
A - Man C
H - Newcastle
A - W.Ham
H - Tottenham

Great to see "respectable" Everton losing tonight,Newcastle doing what we failed to do to this dirty, cheating side last Saturday.
Wonderful to see them in this mess and an excellent result if,they are finally relegated at last.

I think that's Southampton gone and very hard to see how Everton survives now too. Leicester away on Monday is last chance saloon for them and even if they win that, they'll have to beat at least one of Brighton or Wolves away and probably both as they've got Man City between those two so they'll get nothing there. The other place will go down to Leeds, Leicester or Forest and as Leeds have Man City, Newcastle, and Spurs in their remaining games, they look the most likely third side to go down. That suits me fine. Sheffield United and a playoff side will be less challenging next year than Leeds and Everton, at least in terms of theory and budget.

Sydenham by birth. Selhurst by the Grace of God.

I’d hate to deny any palace fan their very much deserved right to panic, including myself there, however the bottom 3 all have 5 games left and to be a point ahead of us , providing we lose all remaining games, would require:

Leicester: 9 points
Everton: 10 points
S’ton: 14 points

The likelihood of all those things happening is near nonexistent albeit not impossible.

Let’s hope we can still get as many Ws as possible nonetheless, COYP!!

The relegation spots are still too close to call. Pick the bones out of this lot!

Saints V Bournemouth tonight. Saints must win or they are down. If Bournemouth lose they get sucked back into the fray. (Home win)

Bournemouth V Leeds. Another 6 pointer, but if Bournemouth get something from the saints game will they be on the beach? (draw)

Leicester V Everton. Do or die for both teams. (Home win)

Forest V Saints. Saints could already be gone. If not its another do or die game. (home win)

Last day. Everton V Bournemouth. If the latter have not picked up enough points to be clear of Everton they could be leap frogged!! Will it be another skin of their teeth survival? I hope not. (home win)

With each of these games points must be lost in the battle. Either 3 (win) or 4 (Draw) points. if Bournemouth lose all 3 of their relegation battles they will be lucky to survive.

Sky are going to love the last day battles!

So Bournemouth are now pretty safe. Does that mean they will be on the beach for the leeds game on Sun? A win could go a long way to saving Leeds.

Forest v Saints is now a nailed on home win.

Leicester V Everton. Do or die for both teams. If one team wins this the other is likely for the drop. A draw and they could both be down.

Everton's final match at Bournemouth will be the last chance saloon for them if they lose the above game!
