Hmm. Waiting several days for the mayor to appear and several more until he decided on my eligibility to apply for a permit to deal with the red tape then being shunted between dozens of Bureaux de Bullmerde, each costing a pile of euros and then finding out the license issued doesn’t cover Le Tape Rouge anyway? Non. Je ne pense pas.

There are 140,000 Brits resident in France and it is oft cited as one of the best places in the world to live.

Isn't London one of the biggest French cities?

Probably. Kinshasa is now the largest French speaking city.

Sounds like your reputation may have preceded you.

We don’t like foreign riff-raff coming over here with all their fancy ideas.

In the part of France concerned having electricity which doesn’t fail when a dog barks (which is often) would be a fancy idea.

It’s a bit like that where I am, too. Some of the locals have just learned that Marie Antoinette has said some beastly things about them.

Yes, but lovely buildings and a jolly little bistro to sip caffe au lait while the time passes.

Total sensory overload. I'd be like a squirrel on Red Bull with all that going on.

I and millions of others were obviously uninformed and stupid when we voted to leave - hmm - let me think.
When the EU Parliament tells me something like this I absolutely know 100% that I was right to vote Leave!

They are right the exclusion of the EU from the argument was decisive.

Another dumb move by Cameron, only one side was heard not the side he was on.

Respected leaders of Europe were left out, deliberately.
