Did you focus group that joke with your Tory chums? You seem awfully proud of it. Far from being a josh it is a very appropriate description.

Maybe when automation comes we’ll migrate to the Mediterranean or anywhere nice and warm. At least the masses saying they want freedom of movement will actually use it then rather than it being a thought in their head. Beginning to think I won’t miss not knowing the future of Britain and the world, although I wouldn’t turn down a cheeky peak.
The demand for a second referendum seems out of place with opinion polls in Scotland itself and appear to be very much a SNP driven device......Which considering they stated that the first one would be 'once in a lifetime' comes across pretty badly. That said, if Scotland voted for independence I believe that it should be honoured. However, would we be getting an excuse blocking culture of 'hard independence' or 'soft independence' descriptions....Would we be hearing 'but they didn't know what they were voting for'. No, let them go because self determination for people who have lived there for thousands of years is a right. We aren't the EU and some remainers. Edited by Stirlingsays (30 Nov 2019 11.21am)

I'm not sure there will be anywhere nice left to go unless you can afford a remote tropical island.

Yep, let them go and have independence, under the EU. The matter of more conservative England is more uncertain. Maybe just the cities and some towns will be like New York before zero tolerance, but then the LA problems will never be solved.

But you do believe they should be paid, just not as much yet? Equality of outcome. Doesn't even have to be the women's game. Look at someone like Andy Carroll. Was at West Ham on £90k a week, then compare his record to someone like Glen Murray, who we should never have sold. Is that fair? In furtherance to my discomfort with the whole 'equality' concept here is a video from a female engineer where she also details her dislike of its ramifications....being for equality of opportunity rather than outcomes.

This comment made me laugh. ‘ If this was a boys sleepover, they would just fight over who gets to sleep on the sofa, but a girls' sleepover results in communism. This is why women shouldn't be allowed to vote.’ Or ‘ That doesn't sound very egalitarian to me. It sounds like a desire to not feel either guilt or jealousy resulted in an attempt to remove the guilt from the process.’
