Hope everyone is ok, aint been able to contact my brother-in-law who works at Kings Cross Tube Station, been trying about two hours now, really worried. It's the attack I predicted on here some three years ago, I wish I'd been wrong, I hope the bleeding hearts are happy now! You can blame Blair or Bush, but the blame clearly lies with the terrorists and their sympathisers and excuse mongers!

There will be a casualty line set up soon

Dont be too worried about not being able to contact him. There are millions of people inside London who will be using their phones either trying to phone out, or have people trying to phone in to them, it will que up the phone networks. Right now i have no signal where normally i would have the best signal my phone can get.

Balham Burner Flag 07 Jul 05 12.10pm

This was always going to happen.

It is terrible but thank God it isn't on the same scale as Bali or Madrid.

My only worry is that this could be a diversion - stay vigilant.

don't worry about croydon - wish i was there! am just sitting here stuck and in the middle of it all, wish i could go home in no mood to attemot work but it's 11 miles and i don't fancy a bus much.

I'm just letting people know what's happening here. All of our work has just died, so I have nothing better to do.

Agree. Let's not make this political please.

Work has said that we are free to go as and when things start coming back online again, so us lot stuck up here would really appreciate news of when stations re-open / trains start running again.

Cheers.

The mobile networks will have been shut down so they can't be used to trigger any further bombs (and even if they hadn't been, the networks would have collapsed under the strain of everyone trying to phone home)

That's just the ramblings of a madman

Bloody hell!

Hope everyone is alright and gets home ok tonight..... I'd like to echo the sentiments of others and say that this isn't a time to blame Blair, this is a time to pull together and try and resolve what is a terrible and desperate situation.

I'm with Pete.

We should throw the Human Rights Bill out of the window and round up anyone suspected of having links with terrorist groups.

If this was done sooner, today may not have happened.

We are a weak country and therefore an easy target!
