As music is subjective you can't be shot down in flames for having a favourite album so this should be quite a nice thread. My favourite album is Doolittle - Pixies.

My 5 favourite albums are: 1. Frankmusik - Complete Me I cannot stress how good the Frankmusik album is. It's synthpop, something i never generally listen to, but it is genuinely one of the only albums i have ever listened to, where i literally rate all of the songs on it so highly. You can find it on the 'MP3 Thread 2' - GET IT!

Quite funny looking back on this thread and my comments from 4 years ago! God I was an impressionable little oik back then. I'd still say Definitely Maybe was up there as my favourite ever album, but don't know if that qualifies to be the greatest ever. Revolver surely has to be up there, though whether or not I think it's even the best Beatles' album changes every day. It's so subjective as well, obviously, but it's a generation think. But, in my opinion the best album ever of my lifetime is Definitely Maybe, with the Stone Roses' debut album right up there. Oh and Noel Gallagher probably isn't a genius, well nothing compared to his younger brother anyway
