All I am concerned about is not making an awful situation even worse. Due process needs to be scrupulously followed to ensure no defence lawyer can work the system. Those not involved, but connected in some way to the perpetrator, need to be thought about. That’s far from insane. It’s trying to ensure sanity in the midst of bedlam. Children have been murdered in the middle of the day and you're worried about 'due process'. That's your concern? And what 'sanity' are you worried about? The kind of sanity and due process which has allowed this to become a reality?

Think some sting needs to be taken out of this thread because the unsubstantiated racial undertones are really quite depressing. They aren't undertones. I'm stating categorically that a vastly disproportionate amount of violent crime is now committed by those of immigrant origin. The background of this individual won't alter that fact one way or the other. What really grieves me the most, aside from the heathenish crime itself, is people like you who are more concerned with appearances and what people think but shouldn't say than the murder of little girls. You sicken me. Do you have kids by any chance? Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (30 Jul 2024 10.03am)

Not to sure it really matters that much where is parents are from - obvioulsy theres been a massive failure somehwere whether it be Education, upbringing or Mental Health. But if he was born here, he has the same rights as UK national. I didnt see people asking where Bukayo Saka's parents are from when scored for england. We just need to know all the facts, and what was missed, where there any faults/gaps, - but unfortunately if someone decides to commit an act like this in 2024, not a lot can stop it happening if someone has it in their mind to be so disgusting and vulgar.

all this desperate urge to get the identity of the stabber. i.e. his ethnicity. At this point now, regardless of whether he is one of them or one of us. i.e. one of the stabby terrorist group that have so much previous history on our streets OR a disgruntled Nigel. Its all academic at this point. Our society HAS fallen. Too many atrocities to forget in the media memory-hole. Too many mental illness cases to be written off as merely bad luck. When will the next attack happen ? cos it now certainly will. when will a violent islamist be declared mentally healthy ? cos he certainly won't. Knife attacks on young kids....Dublin, Southport Bomb attacks on concert kids......Manchester Ariane Grande Peace in Europe 1945 to 5th September 2015 ( Angela Merkel told border guards in the East to allow the flow in ) Its the Last days of Rome folks. 471 AD. Better pack your bibles and go to a monastery on an island West of ireland. The Dark Ages have returned.

So what chance do the rest of us have ? EVERYBODY is vulnerable to violence.

Therein lies the problem. 'In 2024 is something like this happens, not a lot can stop it'. How anyone can arrive at a conclusion that we live in a day and age where such a horrendous atrocity is just accepted as a reality and that no contributory factors can be explained for it and therefore prevention identified, is beyond me. How little faith can a person have in themselves and their own cognitive function that they just accept this? Furthermore, the thoughtless correlation between children being murdered and a sporting event is another demonstration of complete insanity. There's no conflict in identifying priority between the wish not for children to be murdered and sporting interest. Anyone thinking there is must be very unwell. I assume therefore that you are happy for events like this to occur so long as a football team has a winger you approve of?

Theres always going to be horrible people who think the unthinkable and do the unthinkable. Issue is now everything is broadcast on social media and what not within about 5 mins and reaches greater audiences.

No, I just think what has happened is shocking, and people trying to straight away force the blame on immigration isn't good. People pick and chose when to not like immigration. People initially thought he was a asylum seeker (he wasnt) I will take your opinion onboard, whilst I dont necessarily agree.

It is not racist to notice patterns of behaviour and use those to make educated predictions about the potential perpetrators.

Listen to the left for reasons you should resign yourself to non Europeans (whether he was born here or not) knifing your girls into bloodied dead heaps. Enoch Powell was right. And they are traitors. Remember their excuses for 'black lives matter' and the protests, kneeling Police and politicians. When the guy they did that for wasn't even from Britain. But remember how that when it comes to whitey it's all about 'imagine' and 'don't look back in anger' and shrugs about....well, you know violence and bad things happen. When Germany were dominate and winning they weren't relying upon imports either. These people talk about cherry picking without releasing that's exactly what they themselves do.
