Key to this now not all spiralling out of control is how quickly they deal with this reality. No conspiracy theory involved in that. Just a very blatent, and very basic, negligence on the part of the people tasked with securing this event. Personally I think they need to get somebody else take over Trumps security ASAP because the people tasked to do it failed so dramatically today that it goes beyond a case of 'lessons will be learned.' I think that is what they told us the last 100 times. Is this a conspiracy? You will never know. Is it likely that someone could take a pot shot so easily? You decide.

A man was murdered. Others are in hospital and trump another man was almost murdered and certain people and a poster only cares about villifying trump. That should tell you all you need to know about those looney wokie lefties and their character and how they value democracy. If you don't have anything other than negative or ridiculous comments at this time best to stay silent.

I am speaking for myself and those who agree with me, who I believe comprise the majority here. Note. Not all and an opinion about the majority. There is a certain magnificence about your delusions!

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance. |

People were pointing out "there's a man on a roof with a rifle" to police, a minute or two before the shooting started. Let alone the rudimentary activities of checking out potential shooting/attacking locations, and having them secured, well before the rally started. I think any security people involved, will be feeling quite embarrassed and probably fearing for their jobs.
I disengage, I turn the page. |

My take on it The security detail is layered with the sniper team scanning an area well beyond the roof, when you hear the first shot you see the sniper lower his rifle to the general direction of the shooter. I'm assuming it was a mixture of national guard & Police who were responsible at the range of the shooter. The Secret service would have been prepping that area for weeks & would have identified & secured any potential vantage points to within a mile of the rally. Lastly you have the DEI hire taking cover behind Trump when it's literally her job to take a bullet. Whole thing is a s*** show. Leaving aside that you can't qualify a majority, I believe that the actual majority in this country will be those who are completely indifferent towards Trump or indeed anything else that happens in the USA. Edited by YT (14 Jul 2024 5.36pm) I disagree. If you discount the don’t knows and don’t cares then the vast majority of those who do have an opinion are, in mine, more likely to disapprove of Trump than approve. That’ls certainly my own experience because the only place in the UK I ever encounter him being defended is this echo chamber.
