Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Why the hell would we want N'Ketiah? He is bang average. If Smith Rowe is such a prospect, then why sell him? Answer, because he can't play 2 games in a row without getting injured. A big no thanks to both. Edited by Hrolf The Ganger (23 Jul 2024 5.06pm) Maybe you should ask Freedman that question. I dont make the decisions nor pick the targets, he does and Guess what? Whether you or I like it or not N'ketiah IS a Palace target and has been for a couple of years now.

Disregarding much of the previous nonsense, on a serious note, we need to sell Guehi during this window, ideally for around £70m, as if he refuses a new contract, next year we will be lucky to get £40-50m for him!

There is no point in having a release clause put into a contract if its for an amount no one will pay. Currently there is little interest in Guehi at £70m despite a faultless Euros performance. FFP killed off the silly season. No one is paying stupid money for players at the moment. Until its been scrapped I expect that to stay the same.

I highly rate Guehi however if we can get close to £70m with him refusing to sign a new deal then it’s time to sell. Anderson and Richards have done well. We also have ward, Clyde, Holding, Lerma can fill in and now Chadi Riad. So it’s not even urgent for us to sign another cb. Shame when he goes but his time at the club has been a huge benefit for him and us

I agree - for the right money I would rather lose Guehi than Eze or some of the others.
