I'd sell him next season if he doesn't want to resign. Less money but another season in red and blue.

Eze should be retained no matter what.

I'd politely disagree. In his absence and playing 3 at the back we have shown we can cope and we have also just signed a young left sided CB, as a direct replacement.

I love Marc but his value is now at its premium so if he won't commit to a new contract i think we could lose him without massively damaging the team.

Agree re Eze - after losing Olise we need to to stay

I don't doubt that we could survive without him and I feel that his new glowing reputation is a little exaggerated, but I'd always keep quality players rather than take the money.

I'm interested in good football, not bank balances.

Agree. I love Marc, I really do. IT feels like he was the fist piece of a more progressive, trusting in youth 'movement'.

As well as putting the best talent on the pitch, we also need to know when the right time to sell is. ATM his stock is high

Would you have sold Messi? His stock is always high.

I endorse these sentiments.

Guehi was competent at 'Euro 2024' but I would not extend such positivity by asserting he was outstanding.Whilst he made some vital blocks he was found wanting on certain occasions.

As a centre half Guehi is relatively easy to replace and only certain teams spend stupid money on that position, so let them fight over him whilst his stock is high.

Whilst Guehi is good he’s no Van Dijk in his pomp and I agree his contribution to England was more hype than complete performances. To get maximum value for him now makes sense.

This is all very well & good, but what about EZE?

I think the point people are making is selling Guehi for £20m or £70m is what will impact how good our replacements are. No one really wants to sell and we are not Barcelona, if we were then they’d all sign new deals.

If we had to keep one I’d keep Ese as he has a longer deal in place

I guarantee Eze will stay with Palace this season, I had a quiet word in his ear, and he knows staying at Palace is the right move, as you know, Lanzo knows best

Always though we might lose two this window so if Guehi goes I would be amazed if Parish let Eze go too.

Eze is harder to replace than Guehi, however I’ve already posted that our link with Smith Row seems a bit odd unless Eze is going. Who knows, I’m not going to worry too much until I see our squad for the first match of the season.
