I agree. I don't think there was much he could do. If he came out of his goal line it probably still would have looped over him. Damned if you do, damned if you don't kind of situation. If it was Johnstone (who I do prefer), I doubt we would be talking about it so much. Agree. It was a cute header. If fingers must be pointed then surely Andersen was more culpable than anyone.

I thought that was a more robust performance from Henderson - a good platform for him as he's going to be first choice for the rest of the season. It's always easy to look to apportion blame when conceding goals, and Wood was given too much space, but it was a very cute finish so credit to him for that. I got frustrated with Eze's performance. Not the missed chances but his giving the ball away cheaply too often. Ultimately I think a draw was the right result. If we had our best eleven available I think we would have won the game, but with so much quality missing, respect the point as they say.

Agreed. He was never going to get to the ball before Wood and give the striker some credit it was a clever header. Agreed, It was impressive given the angle, not sure out of 10attempts how many times he could pull that off

At the end of the day it was a good point and none of the teams below us were able to make up ground on us.

Johnstone, Munoz, Richards, Andersen, Guehi, Mitchell, Doucoure, Wharton, Eze, Olise, Ayew, JPM is a good starting XI. If we're allowed to start 12 players every game I'm sure we'll climb the table fast Anyway, I agree with the consensus that 1-1 isn't a terrible result. And for their goal Wood should get a lot of credit, it was a great header. If JPM had done that we'd all be delighted.

Utterly pointless response. Glasner will be looking to offload deadwood and replace with players like Munoz. Was he mega expensive and outside and beyond our reach? No, of course he wasn’t. He will look to become stronger in depth and bring in players that are better than the bottom half of our squad. Just saying money is a ridiculous glib comment, it’s about finding value for money and selling players at top value to replace with 2 or 3 squad players that are stronger than those we currently have.

Respect the point but in reality that is two points lost. Eze has to score from the Wharton pass, and could easily have scored following that mazy run in the second half. When Munoz header hits the post you know it’s not going to be your day. Their goalkeeper (quite the upgrade on Trafford) closed Eze down well. If Eze had placed it wide of him it probably would have missed and then its 50/50 whther he can get a strong hand/arm on the ball, which he did
