Was at the game. Today, we seemed to lack confidence in passings, especially forward, hence we made too many back passes going forward, slowing down our offensive. I was given to understand Glasner don't like sideways and back passings.

Lazy defending from Eze, sticking a leg out rather than closing Townsend down. May not have got the angle he did on the cross if he had been under pressure from Eze. That’s always going to be our problem with Eza. Sadly he isn’t an all round player. But that lob he did and some of his other passes / jinks are worth the admission money :-) With better players alongside him and a bench with players that can come on and not weaken us we wouldn’t complain about his defensive work. If only we had a Townsend on the bench today :-(

I am not too despondent about that. As with the game at their place we were clearly the better side. Our defending now looks more solid and reliable and we are creating chances. Yes we missed some but no team scores them all and we were just unlucky with Eze’s long range effort and when Edouard hit the bar. Luck plays a big part in football and it went against us today. On another day it could have been 3-0. The most important thing was achieved which was to keep the gap the same. The improvement is obvious and 3 weeks of training plus players returning to fitness should be enough to calm any remaining nerves.

A great effort from distance, but let's be fair, few and far between.

It was a good goal, not an error, and we were attacking in stoppage time. Where we lost was earlier with our profligacy at least two chances should have been taken. Luton are quite an act they could have a chance with points deductions for Everton and Forest, if they can last out. A mention for Ward, play him anywhere and he is always Mr.Reliable. COYP

That was a very poor Luton side today and we struggled to take control. Mitchell was once again poor, he lacked pace and physicality and can't pass to save his life, he is not an attacking wing back and really lets the side down! Absolutely have to agree. Very, very poor, he’s not even any good defensively at this level.

Ref was abysmal second half. Sick to death of these late goals. Put the bloody game away beforehand. Yes, i thought he was poor. Not too bad first half but second half he was making decisions as if he’s never actually played the game! Just studied the laws in a text book and then tried to apply them with no actual understanding of the game.

Generally OK today but have got to score more than one against these which always left us open to conceding late as we again retreated when they had the ball The goal itself was just so avoidable , Ahamada should have kept the ball , Eze should be making a tackle not just hanging a leg out , Richards got wrong side of his man and Andersen should be attacking the cross with his nut .Luton or anyone should never be allowed to score from that position but there you go our weakness in the air both attack and defence has cost us again .

Eze looked completely off the pace today. A few nice link up touches and a great effort in the second half which was so unfortunate not to go in but other than that he was well below par and his tracking back with purpose was non existent. I understand he is coming back from injury and may be reluctant to give it everything just yet but his lack of tackling and getting stuck in was very evident today and we needed more from him in that respect.

A simple case of missed chances coming back to haunt us. Mateta should have scored 5. He probably scored the hardest of all his chances.

In the prediction thread, I asked who would be blamed today & I was right, you lot blame Mitchell. He played very well hardly had cover from Ayew but linked up well with him. It's a toss up who was MOM, I'm leaning to Munoz & I know Mateta scored the goal, it was Munoz who laid it on. Glasner has a lot to sort out in the break. I am with you, you can see the change in formation that Glasner is going to implement, we where in a different class to Luton, the second goal would have led to more, a full pre season with Glasner and 3/4 in and 5/6 out and then we can judge him, the passing was crisp, but Doucoure and Olise are massive misses, we will not go down, 5/6 points and all is good, Mitchell isn't playing at LB anymore, its a different role and for my money did OK
