Hodgson lost us that by keeping tired legs on.
Great performance but 20mins to gon it was clear richards, mateta were spent. Ozoh, Franca + schlupp needed to come on a lot earlier to counters chelseas changes.

"It was a Team effort, I guess it took all players working together to lose this one"

Olise looks a threat. Eze off the pace. Didn’t expect anything from that but Saturday is a must win game now. So a Royball 0-0 it will be

All very predictable and all very much the same. I genuinely go into every game now fully expecting not to win.
3 points off relegation and I would imagine we will be in the bottom 3 within the next 2-3 weeks.
I wonder if those on here, and there were a fair few, who were happy that Roy was given another 12 months are still just as happy?

It was a dreadful decision but the board must take full responsibility. We've been doing things on the cheap for the last couple of seasons now and our luck is finally running out.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Glad that i switched off after penalty was given and did not see Franca was sub-on. Two consecutive games, Ayew out and right after conceding a goal. Chelsea was like a sleepwalker and opting for Schlupp.

Not saying tactically that’s the reason of the goal but it is pure reflection of a mindset.

Brentford game seems to be tie-breaker (for Roy) and i believe he knows this.

Diabolical.

1 win in our last 12 games 5 defeats in our last 8 games, we are 'Sleep walking' into relegation.

A red mist of fury has formed around me, I have been hissing, scowling and glaring and my dear wife has admonished me for my behaviour.

I'm not so sure. After Brentford getting hammered today by Wolves they'll be out for blood and we always struggle against them. I can see another L easily especially since Roy's tactics won't change.

Success will lie to you but failure always tells you the truth.

No itns't. As soon as the forward lost the ball extended his
right. legs into Eze. Re conned

That was my first take on it (as it was the refs as he waved play on) VAR with slow-mo just shows the point of contact not the movement what led up to it .
Disappointing but thats what we get with var .

Sprinting towards it not sleep walking.

Ah well much as expected. We gave it a good go but lack the quality of player to beat th3 megabucks sides. As always players errors led to the goals and they hav3 come from our perceived best players not only in this game but the last one as well. COYP

It's as simple as this, Roy needs to go.

His in game management is shocking and precisely why we keep conceding late goals, because he refuses to make substitutions. IF he doesn't trust our bench then he shouldn't have told us how happy we should all be with the squad after the transfer window closed, which was patently bollocks.

Tonight was a tired player, who has barely played due to injury, making a tired challenge and giving away a penalty. I don't blame Eze at all, I blame Roy.

Supporting Palace just feels like groundhog day under him, it was awful last time and it's awful this time too. If we're going to go down I'd rather it was having a go than with this turgid, miserable football.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

I’d lay money he doesn’t know this. Remember England V Iceland.
